whee~ yesterday was happy happy~!!!

Last Japanese lesson at JCS for the year. was sorta a review, went through all the stuff. and everyone was sitting so closely together cos they removed some of the tables and chairs. felt so much more like a class. then at the end of the lesson, they presented the board with our wishes and photos on it to ryouko sensei. then she was so touched by it she cried~! a bit shock tio. haha. and she said she would put the board in her room as motivation. i almost cried too when i saw her so touched by it. really can see her passion and dedication for teaching… ^_^

LOL a bit sad that i cant go for SHE’s autograph session for 爱的三温暖. BUT BUT BUT i went to jinglun’s 桃花小妹 autograph session with mica after the lesson. omg~ why did they hold it at j8… at the north (to me its north =p) very out of the way lah~ but we went from bugis so still okay. and guess what? i got jinglun’s autograph + got to shake hands + take photo!!!!! omg omg~ when i heard the hosts saying can take photo really go crazy le ah. so good~~~ first time can take photo bah, cos usually those autograph sessions i attended only allowed us to get the autographs, at most shake hands. but yesterday they even had someone stationed there to help take photographs! really high sia. and jl sang the 咸鱼 song which is premiere cos its new and jl’s first time performing it in public! woo~ after that still went eat MOS burger which super long never touch liao… =) haha photos:

Lalala~ exams coming soon for both school and JCS like wth… JCS de over le immediately the next day is the start of the school’s exams. and so many things have to like fall during the exam period. i want go museum~~~ arggghhh and im still left with 2 assignments. must chiong le… tmr having japanese oral and listening in school… jiayou jiayou. =S

Today is Dad’s birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!! =D

hahaha went CO just now. was late sia. luckily liu laoshi havent reached. lolx every week tanbo same few people turn up de. like so predictable. >.< anyway, the session today was fun lah. i think all of us including liu laoshi got tired of the Prince of Egypt song - 摩西王子 (I still think it should be called 当你相信 – When you Believe). haha. and i dont understand why it is so similar to 瑶族舞曲. AND i also cant understand why a CO would play a western song (摩西王子) and why a Western band would play a Chinese song (瑶族舞曲). Yes, i remember i heard before but i dont know where. hahaha

So… we ended up playing solo songs. Hui Boon was playing 江月琴声 (nice~~~), and thanks to her I got to learn a bit of 诉 cos she went to tell liu laoshi i have the scores. just happened to see it online that day when she asked me send the song to her eh… ahhhh Hui Boon!!! thanks ah… >.< (luckily never say 草原小姐妹) lol, but its a good thing also lah i guess, got individual lesson from liu laoshi (very short lah but still~), and it has been ages since i learnt a solo. but i like the song lah. more cheemology type. LOL damn cool can (especially this 7flat part… 扫弦+四指轮 wahahaha ~high~ XP) haix but the song very difficult also! much higher than my standard lah~~ how how how! i doubt i can play the fast parts. nvm, 反正抱着玩玩的心态, no stress. haha. >.< HOMEWORK: 1) first page plus a bit second page. so far so good. haha. 2) continue focusing on 轮, gahhh irritating. super hard to eliminate 杂音 leh… =S 3) mental note to practise 轮 on second string. *gosh.. think i need to lock myself up and practise =p*

oh yah, also realised 江月琴声 and 诉 have something in common. they are both inspired by the poem《琵琶行》. 读《琵琶行》有感 and 读唐诗《琵琶行》有感. lol super similar, even melody got a teeny weeny bit similar. i dont know why. cool neh~~~ shall go research. hahaha.

omg, my cough’s returning (on self-medication, i still refuse to see a doctor cos i hate doctors. lol its one of my weird problems) kk shall faster go sleep soon. nite all!

didnt really take many photos in there. but the sound system was super good, plus they use wireless mics. the wireless mics were controlled using sensors, leaving the original socket for the mic wires - which were well hidden (but we managed to find them nevertheless XD) - available for more mics which we brought along! hehehe. so… in the end we ended up with personal mics! lalalala~ yays.

whee~ accompany my bro to sgh this morning for his x-ray. lol and we were given masks to wear. but they didnt take temperature. -.- woo almost suffocated lah~ so not used to wearing a mask so it was quite hard for me to breath properly in one. but quite cool though. haha. was thinking if masks really work in preventing the spead of flu viruses or something cos i read a bbc article saying their usefulness is like quite limited... hmmm, if a sick patient wears a mask then won't he or she be breathing in his or her own germs??? like eeeewww... wanted to hang around chinatown's bead shops after that but the trip to the hospital took longer than what i expected. in the end went back straight from outram to pass mica my jap notes at pioneer.

sooo ntu co prac resumed yesterday... so long didnt climb the long flight of stairs like no stamina le. anyway, not many people turned up lor... all the instructors also didnt come except for shen lao shi. 0_o haha in the end we stayed in the room to blow air con and slack. hehehe. actually quite shuang also lah. tried to look for scores with huiboon to play but in the end like nothing much leh~ either not nice or quite -.-" one. so many pop song some more. haix. should play more cheem songs. hahahah. >.< BUT!!!! i saw xi shuang ban na's solo scores!!! like find quite long le... wanted to play play a bit cos the song really very nice but decided its too hard. haha. partially lazy also lah. =p got to play a bit liu qin (omg so long didnt touch yu hou ting yuan le!) hahaha cant even play B flat major already... the rest were like listening to recordings and engorssed with hp's birthday analysis book. haha. seems like its really quite accurate hor... lol. oh yah, talking about the shuttle from pioneer also... havent tried it leh. if can take will save me transport fare sia. free tranbsport to and from school. hee. but i bet there will be too many people once school reopens. bleah.

yays enjoying my holidays now. i've decided to really give myself a break. time to do what i want to do. so free, so nice. hahah. going out tmr!!! :) kk go watch tv le!

woah still don’t really have anything much to write… >.< today no Japanese lesson so rot at home typing out my Japanese vocabulary list, listening to songs and TRYING to revamp my blog. hahaha. was sent this link yesterday… its on the recent H1N1 virus, or more commonly known as swine flu. it says there is a mutation of it into a H1Z1 virus – zombie swine flu. apparently, a victim who has died from this virus can be temporarily “resurrected”. rather interesting, do go read it.

haha. surprise, surprise, its actually a hoax. picked out a few loopholes. 1) the website address itself is unprofessional, so unlike BBC. 2) “If you feel yourself passing away, then notice your strength and vigor returning at an alarming rate, please attempt to restrain yourself to prevent infection and harm to others.” LOL. 3) “Have you been affected by the zombie strain of swine flu? You can send your experiences using the form below. You can also send your questions about the decision to raise the alert and we will send it to our health experts.” LOL again. it’s super funny lah, but on the other hand it reflects how scary this virus can get. yes, heard on the news that day that one third of the world’s population could be affected in a year. Scary. guess that’s all for now bah… anyway, there have been lots of people getting sick recently, so do take care okay? :)

*blows dust off blog* *puff* haha so sorry didn’t blog for a long long time. this blog almost rotted and disintegrated. haha. =p

hmm yesterday went vivo to collect my phone. poor phone had to suffer because of my carelessness. *guilty* actually up till now i still don’t know how the lcd screen smashed… but thank goodness its alright now~! ^_^ yipee! after that went daiso to shop since i’m at vivo already… (wanted to go imm de cos its bigger but its too out of the way) so happy~ bought some felt to play with, since the ones i have at home are like so limited in colours. bought some fizzy soda sweets and mugi cha too, those teabag type ones. haha the teabags so worth it, two bucks only for like 20 bags so man make about 20 litres of tea. i’ve been looking for it for so long… ^_^

okay lah, nothing much to write also, just giving myself some motivation to study for exams. =p had the Japanese language level 1 paper on Monday. was quite okay i guess… just pray that others don’t do super super well get all correct then should be quite safe le. Xp (evil rite, curse other people… haha). next paper will be on monday so have quite some time to study. yays. exams here i come!!!!

some plans for after exams:

1) get a temp job. but now like quite hard to find. plus i don’t want those super long de like 2 –3 months. i’d rather get those like one time or a few days to a week that type. then can do a few different jobs. anyone got lobang?

2) travel overseas – planning to go hangzhou/beijing but don’t know in the end will get to go or not. =S

3) learn how to crochet! and so many crafty stuff to do like beading and sewing and etc etc etc. haha.

4) cook/bake something decent. hahaha.

Yo!!!! okay im a bit slow, but yea, posting for the first time in 2009!

and the post’s gonna be a little outdated (again, i know =p) haha nevermind lah…

went countdown at marina with yn, sy and mica! had dinner at crystal jade at suntec, and surprisingly, there werent many people there. yn had this $50 voucher so in the end we paid like only $1+ each. yays.

after that went carrefour to but some titbits for later… heheheh.

guess what we were doing? haha

After going to the supermarket, its time to go out and play with some water~!!!!

sooo after countdown we went to play in the field jumping and running around like kids.=p then its walking all the way to orchard for partyworld!!!!

yeah~! SING~~!!!!! but the fact i was having a throat infection (i think) made it a little difficult to sing properly. gahhh~ towards the end really quite no voice le. nevertheless still enjoyed myself. they actually provided balloons and masks and noisemakers.our balloon men are cute rite? lol and our fear of the place being ulu was unfounded. ooo and we tried some blending songs… haha quite addicted le. =p

alrighty, so after the singing sesssion from 2am till 6am, we went for breakfast. took the train to raffles then walked to lau pa sat, but seeing that there was nothing much, we went over to maxwell food centre. this was our first meal of the year:

k, so thats all for countdown. hmmm school finally reopened. okie, more difficult modules. and i managed to get jap~!!! ^_^ after 1 week, im rather scared of the research methodology module i think, like quite demanding, plus need to do many presentations and stuff. eeek. co has also finally resumed for both sch and hsinghai. omg, the concert dates are like so close together as well. die man. wah, hh today was like terrible also lah… so long didnt prac plus suddenly switch to 1 cannot react fast enough. goner lah~! dont even know got time to practise or not. 3.5 day week (fridays free, weds one 2-hour lesson) but have to go school quite early for the rest of the days, and the earliest i end is like 7pm? x_x gotta get out of slacking and lazing around liao….

kk shall go sleep already, need to wake up early tomorrow (trying to sleep 8 hours everyday, but like quite impossible.) *yawn* nite all!

lalala~ py pulled me along for this event organised by a member of hungrygowhere.com. they had a new chef on board, plus a whole new menu, so had us try out their new creations....

first course ~ soup ~ lobster bisque: didnt really liked it

second course ~ starter ~ Braised baby abalone + crispy white bait + asparagus and egg tart : like 3 separate dishes. liked the egg tart (not the cake shop kinda egg tart lol)

third course ~ pasta ~ gnocchi with foie gras: best out of the 5 courses. simply delicious! yum yum.

overall quite nice lah~ if got money to spare can go try, absolute haven is at prinsep street, is some kind of shophouse shop. haha. definitely must try the homemade gnocchi with foie gras!!!

ahhh this week mon to weds was taken by co practice! ok lah... prac till my fingers hurt but overall quite relaxed? definitely will speed up alot after the hk trip lor cos there will be a concert at the end of february next year.

went watch nutcracker at esplanade yesterday too. quite nice and interesting, something different from the usual concerts. ooo and the dancers all look so pretty and graceful on stage. ok the little children were super super cute. then some still chubby chubby de. but a few years down the road, they'll be transformed into graceful swans. haha. the poise and gracefulness of the dancers... must have took them a long time and a lot of discipline and hard work to build up. wanted to buy the program booklet but it was $10!!!! robbery lor... hahaha. kk lah nice performance. ^_^

going JCS to sign up for jap lessons tomorrow. lalala ~ excited! oh and i just did a silly thing. Tried reserving a slot for party world session and i left the name as Skyx. hahaa. dont know how the staff will respond. keke.

Another week gone

Last Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday had hsinghai practice cos concert coming up.... nothing much lah. Went bowling and swimming with cousins on tuesday morning too. Nah... i think i still dont like bowling. So hard lah... but swimming is fun. Havent went swimming in a long time though. Love the water. Hehe. Wednesday noon went to watch movie with the same cousins too. Beverly Hills Chihuahua... kawaii!!!! haha quite a nice movie. And i like chihuahuas too. Especially the long-hair types. Okay okay next time i wanna keep a dog, a cat and white mice and they shall be friends. =p

Saturday had hsinghai practice again, weird timing, weird day. Haha till it didnt feel like a Saturday but a Sunday instead. Oh man, that practice was like quite bad lah, everyone's panicking and all that... hmmm after that lugged my pipa all the way to the other end of Singapore – Expo, to see the SITEX fair... then went airport to pick sis up and had BK for dinner. Then its all the way back to boon lay... -.-

Sunday was hsinghai concert!!! lolx i think overall it turned out okay lah... a few mistakes here and there but quite enjoyable really... the audience was like almost full and the applause was like super loud? Haha.

Hmmm NTU CO practice resumed this week so its down for practices on Monday and Tuesday again. thankfully i live near school. =) oh man, i think the past 1 month without practices+playing only accompaniment caused my skills to drop yet again. i can really see it going down the drain liao. maybe i should 废掉 all my skills and learn from scratch =S haha. ooo but the 大寨红花遍地开 was fun! haha quite like that song lor. challenging, but fun. lol.

Yesterday went out to celebrate yn's belated belated birthday at De Coder's cafe which was quite ulu at Newton there. -.- lol dont know how other people get so high over the games lah. then we were like all very calm. PLUS very slow reaction. theres this Panda Monium game where you need to perform certain actions as quickly as possible when certain cards are flashed. then its like all of us can stare stare stare at the card for a few seconds before doing the action. retarded man. hahaha. dont think i will go back there again though... k i should say i dont really like board games to start with... =p

Went Clarke Quay (clarky =p) for dinner and we walked around the whole the Central without deciding where to eat. saw this Wakashachiya Curry Udon shop, but the queue was looonnngggg. in the end decided to eat at some shop outside, so continued walking and walking and finally decided upon Tomo Izakaya. cool lah the group of us got this riverside seat. it was raining rather heavily and it was quite nice to be sitting there cos could see the ripples on the water surface which reflected colourful lights from the surrounding buildings. PLUS the wind... PLUS the ambience.. NICE!!!^_^ no wonder they called it tomo (short for friend)... rather good place to hang out with a group of friends. oh yah, the food was quite nice also lah... had tempura soba. the tempura goes quite well with the chilli powder they provided. hehe. after the satisfying dinner, we went to walk around some more before going home. ;)

today went orchard with py. planned to go for the ben & jerry's chunkfest one... had lunch at shimbashi soba at paragon... (yepps, soba again =p) and i finally got to try natto, which is fermented soy beans. lol a bit weired on first taste, or rather, not something familiar to our Singaporean tastebuds. lol. (like the mugi cha which i ordered as well.) after all its fermented... hmm come to think of it, tempeh is also fermented soy beans, but while it is in cake form, natto is just like a pile of sticky soy beans. haha. a bit gross and messy to eat and i guess one have to acquire a taste for it. after that hang out at kino while waiting for the rain to stop... sad lah, why did it rain?? when we finally reached fort canning where the chunkfest was held, the whole place was super wet and muddy. ewww.... oh but something cool, they had escalators on a hill!!! high tech sia. keke. okay... in the end the queue was super super long, and not really moving. settled for sorbet instead. and while queueing, it rained again... -.- quickly went to the national museum nearby to eat up the sorbets. lol the place was crowded, and probably most people come from the chunkfest. haha. there wont be so many people visiting museums in Singapore de. xp

oh yah anw, do watch 小娘惹 (Little Nyonya) if you havent watch okay... ^_^ quite nice lah... dont waste the effort and money mediacorp used to produce the show. lol. so sad lah missed so many episodes cos of CO.... whatever... have to catch up on tudou...

kkk shall go of le. probably going down hsinghai for 慰劳会 tomorrow. =S so farrrr.....

Peranakan Museum & Bookfest - 22 Nov 2008

yo all! so sorry for not blogging. lol a bit lazy, plus too many things to blog about, dont know where to start! =p

so story continues from after exams end last last thursday... first thing i did was go jp library. haha yep, not joking... went jp library to borrow a few books. yays i finally have the time to read! ^_^ usually its just borrow, flip a few pages then return. waste time waste effort. hmm so yea. story books + a cookbook + a craft book. its nice that they always increase the quota from 4 to 8 book during the holidays.

next up. thanks py who called me along. went for this Big Eat Out organised by HungryGoWhere.com. Despite the weather, it was a super cool event which is held at the Peranakan Museum (Little Nyonya craze!! ahhhh!!!!). its cool cos its held in conjunction with Explore Singapore! which is sorta a festival to encourage locals to visit our 52 museums and discover more about our Singaporean roots. meaningful rite? its also cools cos there's food!!! the organisers brought together a few "heritage" stalls selling great food like beef noodles (cant eat beef though), ayam buah keluak, indian rojak, satay, nasi padang, char kway teow, hokkien mee, and so on. even old chang kee was called in. SHIOK AHH! there was also a flea market set up. oh, and you get free entrance to the museum by purchasing food coupons. and i got to go on a museum tour guided by Mark Lee! cool again lah! AND whats more, the museum was kinda cool too, all the peranakan stuff - really 大开眼界. and you get to look at them and know more about the culture before the debut of Little Nyonya!!! oh yeah i think i need to return to the museum to take more photos and a closer look at some stuff we skipped or didnt really see. intending to visit some other museums too. looking for museum buddies... anyone??? Anyway, photos...

Went to Bookfest at Suntec alone after the event cos i accumulated 8 bucks worth of discount previously and intended to spend it. keke. Partly is because i wanna see Rui En also lah (不凡的爱craze! FINE i admit im a crazy fan of channel 8 dramas -.- oh but no, i didnt subscribe to mobtv). In the end when i got there, i saw JJ Lin... dont really like him though (actually its more of his voice and music style i dont like – no offence, personal prefference) so didnt care to even go near the stage. Walk around first then went buy Rui En's CD cos i like the 慢舞 song. Then they played the other songs there also then find them quite nice lah. Yea can go listen ^_^ anw, decided to queue for autograph since im already there le. So just followed queue lor. Move move move until just nice at the side of the stage with a huge stupid board blocking out the view of the stage completely. So throughout Rui En's live singing and all the intro and stuff can only hear but cant see. Yah, her live singing is super good, just like its recorded. Then she was so pretty that day also. Hehe. Ooo saw siying at the autograph seesion too when i came down from the stage. So after getting high over the autograph session, went to walk around some more and bought a recipe book for mum and 2 books for myself (heavy~)

lol it was shiok to be sitting in the exam hall, looking at the neat rows of desks and chairs. hehe im not joking... it has been about a year since i last took a real exam(quizzes not counted lah =p) like wth right, have been taking exams for the past 10+ years... =.= but it was really nice. sitting in the hall, doing the paper, trying to squeeze out info from the back of the brain, discussing the answers after it... AND i was quite relieved by the fact that there was ample time to do and go through the paper, so unlike in the past where i cant even complete all the questions despite scribbling frantically.

well, despite a slightly leaky pen - that was my favourite pen =(, the paper went quite well i guess... it was rather average, or maybe a little on the easy side. thankfully the setter was not that evil... and thankfully, i went wiki-ing for the meaning and examples of 'calquing' which came out. i think quite a lot was based on ODK (prescribed text). yeah, so thankful again that i revised based on it, and then extract points out of the notes to supplement it. whew.

okay so one paper down, three more to go. im sorta still in the midst of studying for tomorrow's paper, HG234, or to simply put it, GRAMMAR. oh man, how interesting can it get? and i made a discovery - that Greenbaum and Nelson dedicated the book to people "with affection". -.- dedicating a grammar book with affection huh? =S i wouldnt feel the "affection" lah. haha. hmm on the happy side, its an open-book test!!! so kind again... but i think it wouldnt be of much use actually since its more practical and analysis-based rather than content-based. *mental note to bring lots of rough paper into the exam* oh yup, the paper starts at 5pm. and before that, i shall be anxiously waiting for it. evening paper... i bet my stomach will be growling by the time it ends at 7.30pm. gosh. when i reach home it'll be like 8pm? pity those staying further away from school.

the upcoming concert is to commemorate the 35th anniversary of hsinghai art association， featuring guest performer - soprano 方琼 (fang qiong) from shanghai. 怀旧歌.影视曲 'reminiscence of silver screen classics' will bring to you classics from the movies such as 慈母心，香格里拉，采槟榔，夜上海，龙的传人 and 南屏晚钟. it will also feature 蓝色的思念 - a medley of familiar songs by the late Teresa Teng. hieee all!!! dropping by to do a quick post.

hmm going off for exams le so might not be really online for the next two weeks or so until the 20th. hehe. must read between the lines. i think i'll get distracted lah. =S hope can do well for this coming exams since its the first of the semester in uni, should have a good start right? have been averaging on As and Bs for the past assignments (except for HG234 Quiz 1... argh) and i hope the finaal exams wont pull my grades down. but i dont know how/what to study... bleahx. crossing my fingers.

alrighty. introducing 2 videos... having craving for Macs? miss Ronald Mcdonald's magic show you used to watch as a child? do watch these wacky ads for Mcdonalds in japan (or 'makudonarudo' as they call it. quite a mouthful huh?) which i just came across. quite unbelievable they could come up with such stuff. first one's sorta gave me the creeps. i dont know, started off laughing like mad for the second one, then after a while its just -.-". haha. enjoy, and have a great weekend!

yo people im back to blog. after completing HG234 last tuesday, i was so sick and tired of the computer that i didnt really use it until today, except for some minor stuff like checking webmail and printing notes. actually didnt even print all my notes. and im still tempted to write one-line posts... lol. but nvm i shall not. =p

very happy today. went hsinghai in the late morning. on the way to hsinghai there was this person who sat beside me carrying her daughter. her daughter should be around 1 -2 two years old i guess since can only say simple words. but she called me jie jie! sooo cute!!! then keep playing with my hair and bag strap. lol. but she was really really really cute can. =p awww but dont know why suddenly she just cried like that and started throwing her small pillow and shoe around... -.- 有时还真的很羡慕小孩的直率--开心就笑，不开心就哭。不必掩饰，也不怕说错话。为什么人一旦长大了就忘了从前的自己也是那么的天真，无邪？

whee~ when i reached, tanbo super a lot of people compared to other sections. ^_^ then i finally managed to go for practice and get the scores to practise at home. and its sort of coincidental that hsinghai and ntuco's schedules "accommodate" one another. ntuco's practice ended last week and will only commence in december, exactly after hsinghai's concert，so i can focus on just one at a time.

oh yeah did some solo shopping+errands just now at jp too. and i bought a rainbow! so happy! no lah, it was just a notebook with plain unruled pages in different colours. kinda bought on impulse (just once in a while... >.<) but i really liked it. colourful=happy! =p

exams are coming up soon too in about 1 week's time. gotta study gotta study gotta study. woosh! okies. this week must go full force already! shall go sleep le! night all!

ahhh slept at 7am in the morning for 3 hours cos was rushing a writing assignment that is due today. serves me right, now my face is filled with mosquito bite-like pimples... argh... =(

so busy these days, with the endless number of projects... and finally when the workload is almost cleared, there are tests and assignments! then before you know it, the exams are here. luckily im studying linguistics, which makes it a teeny bit more fun. i cant imagine taking other subjects now. and im sooo aniticipating the year end holidays. dont even have the chance to go shopping man... been wanting to go out to (window)shop/walk/play/(insert any non-academic activity) for like dont know how long le. haix. holidays faster come leh. AND I WANNA GO K!!!!!! T_T

i dont usually dream in my sleep, but im having nightmares these few days. so scary, it doesnt feel like im dreaming, it feels like im half-awake. and maybe they are not dreams, no real images, rather abstract i can say, like colours and feelings and sounds, not images. eeek.

suddenly feel like composing some songs, cos these few days also have quite some 灵感, but always didnt manage to "record". sad lah... its always like that. i need to go into writing too, especially in chinese... so dead already, i dont wanna lose my mother tongue from underuse.

okay, nothing much to blog about really, going back to my books~ ^_^ and 自闭-ing. hah.

hi all! just a quick entry... i was lazy to blog all this while... nothing really interesting to blog anyway. kk, gonna make this real quick cos i wanna sleep! slept at 3+am this morning because i was (re)doing my tutorial (wich i lost! -.-)... in the end my tutor didnt go through it at all except for one small part which could be done in like 10 minute. *cry*. still need go school later and there's photo taking(i dont know what to wear, someone help!!!!)

yups, so what i wanna say is, just changed my song. haha. sorted out my whole library of photos yesterday, so will be uploading some which are long overdue(right, hanna?), hopefully have the time, say, tonight(i doubt) or tomorrow or the day after. =/ probably gonna change my blogskin soon, so stay tuned.

lalala~ its so nice when you need to go to school only for co. wahahaha~ =p then sectionals yesterday we played 长城随想!!! so cool lah... like that song but very long didnt listen le. and does anyone have the 1st and 2nd movements can send me??? today's combined i was the only pipa!!!! WHY WHY WHY?!?!?!? and didnt play 长城... i was like *oh no, im dead* cos i was practising 长城 at home... -.- looking forward to the tanbo ensemble piece though... having orientation on sat... argh dont know how it will be like...

4 days of recess week gone but havent done anything really constructive. sooo gonna complete the long overdue readings. going out tomorrow, which leaves me with another 4 days. then there're tutorials and projects to be completed and i want go library too. and then theres co orientation on sat. HOW GREAT.

missed first episode of 大城情事 today! so wanna watch 张耀栋! lol. so i was frantically looking for ways i could record the show last minute before going for co, but apparently there was none. went searching around just now only to realise that someone had already uploaded the episodes on youtube, as the show was first shown in malaysia? so not only can we watch today's episode, we can watch in advance!!!! yays. and im so gonna stay up late to watch (no school = staying up late, not that i've been going to bed early during normal school days =p). and i think the debut of the show on channel 8 was timely, cos i've just finished watching Lucky Star anime series yesterday. just nice can start on something new. yipee yipee! ^_^

whee~ school's still great as usual but its getting busier by the day. lots of assignments and projects coming up till i cant really keep track which is for which. *oops* just completed two quizzes last week and they were like disastrous already. =p

sunday was a busy busy day too. went hsinghai in the morning then left at break. actually dont know if i should go or not since i dont think i want to go for the november performance. directly after exams man... and dont really like the songs lah seriously. and the shen laoshi keep saying i play very soft. very yuan wang can? and the stupid guitar method lah... WHY PLAY POP AGAIN!!!!! i dont like!!!! T_T i dont know why, but i feel ntuco is so much different. probably the generation gap is smaller then theres a sense of familiarity, though its weird to be saying this when i've attended only four practise sessions. and i realised i so missed "proper" sectionals. the tanbo sound and the 打拍子 sound. and the combined prac yesterday was like so fun! the conductor very funny also. i was like laughing and laughing and laughing. really enjoyed myself. pipa peeps stayed back a while to play. oh man, 送我一枝玫瑰花，赶花会，彝族舞曲... cool lah... played until the seniors had to chase us out. >.< hahaha.

sunday went back to discuss project also... was delayed a bit, but thankfully we finished it! our first project!!! ^_^ lalala~ and now a few more interesting ones are coming up!

okay, and im like so motivated to mug now... cos at least the stuff im studying is interesting. lol. and i needa do my readings!!!! hahah kk shall stop here for now to do tomorrow's tutorial. =p

2 days in NTUCO

alright im blogging from my new laptop which i bought at comex the day before. ^_^ although its rather big and heavy, its specs are quite good, plus it has all the features i was looking for. (except for the touchscreen -.-) cost me nearly 1800 bucks so i cant buy the creative x-fi player anymore cos i would have exceeded the nets quota. i never spent so much in a day before!

anyway, finally went for ntuco practice. and i mean finally, i've skipped the past two weeks' sessions. it took me so long to decide to go for sectionals yesterday. man, the nanyang house place was so secluded at the moutain top (not really, just that i had to climb stairs to get there -.-). then when i got there, they just told me to go in the room and sit with the pipa people. *huh* blur. hahaha. okies nevermind, so later on the new tanbo teacher come to go through the songs with us. woo~ and the new teacher is liu yan lao shi!!!! haha actually she just ensured we can sight read the scores then went through a few bars of the song. then she went to teach the zhongruan people i think, cos they are newcomers to co. they originally wanted to learn pipa but liu lao shi said it was difficult and zhong ruan was easier so asked them to learn zhongruan first. =( if not pipa will have a lot of people. didnt get to see the seniors yesterday though, only 3 other new members. towards the end of the session, liu lao shi came back to "test" us on our ji ben gong (foundation skills?) gosh... taken by surprise lah! lol but finally finally theres a teacher teaching us and correcting our errors. its like going back to secondary school's sectional practice. really super happy lah! for the past 3 years its been more of a trial and error, no one to correct me, no one to "scold" me etc. skills willl deprove de lor~

so went down again for combined prac today, which i dont think a lot of people attended (cos the conductor's not here bah) hmm not bad... think the scores are quite easy to sight read. at least i can play through the songs without much of a problem. happy again! but i wont get the scores until next week so cannot prac... ahhhhh.... I WANT THE SCORES!!!!

oh yeah, was on the bus to go for prac today when there was this person who ask me what instrument was inside the bag (pointing to my pipa case) lol. is it that hard to guess arh? somehow i wish i have a transparent pipa bag then everyone can see! haha but must have sunblock (uv protection) if not the instrument spoil lah just like our skin being exposed to too much uv... haha. yeah is there one already? if not someone quick go invent one so i wont have people staring suspisciously at my bag everytime i bring my pipa out for a walk. =p

hahaha i sooooooooooo love the song. 爱诗曲 really rocks man! 爱诗曲 aka 爱诗 aka 无题1 aka 无题... brought back so much memories. even more when im watching with my section mates. =) when the juniors played the song my hair really stood on end, and actually it came as a surprise since this song wasnt listed on the poster. only knew it when i saw the song title on the programme booklet. ahhhhh. i guess this song would be a meaningful one which links all rvco members from the different batches together. seniors first played it, then it was our turn. now its the juniors who are playing for us. when i see them on stage, memories really flooded me and i could recall the time when we were sitting on stage, playing THAT song. so nostalgic... ^_^ i wished so hard that they would play the song again for encore, but too bad they dint lah. but rhythm of the rain is not bad too. at least everyone enjoyed it. this is the repertoire for the concert:

quite like the songs they pick lah, some abit more cheem de and some lighter pieces. all time favourite 爱诗曲... like 任逍遥 cos its the 东游记 song, then i like the show a lot. lol. then 黄河之水天上来 and 陇上春潮 were quite nice too. of course, there's 火凤... so proud of the tanbo juniors. haha my sister's classmate was playing the yangqin solo too. the rest were quite good and tze hui did a good job also... ^_^ the only thing was that i think its a bit soft. hahaa. as for the overall, not bad lah, though still quite some room for improvement. throughout i find suona quite off (a lot semitones) , so i guess should improve on 音准. suona was better for the last two songs i realised, then listen really a lot more comfortable... ^_^ the rest like dizi and liuqin can improve on 音色 lah... hmmm maybe im biased or something but nothing much to pick on really. so glad i went for the concert. happy happy happy.

okay gotta go finish my readings and assignments and stuff =/ then probably going comex to get a laptop and mp3 later also... hee see ya guys!

yipee its the weekend again~! (^_^)\V/ hmmm so updates for the past week...

didnt go wsc interview in the end. figured that i was too tired / dont feel like going so went home. =p skipped co welcome tea altogether. hehehe bad hor? saw ser in the bus back home also then she also didnt go. heard from her that a lot others didnt go as well so im not the only one. lalala

have been returning home late for the past two days. accompained wani for some interview and we waited like from 6+pm to 8+pm... (or was it 9+pm? cant really remember) 0_o like so late lah! hahah and i thought they were soooo not organised. lol dont you schedule individual time slots for interviews!?!? they just told everyone to report at a certain time, then took so long to interview each person. so there were like this whole group of people waiting outside one tutorial room for their turn. the german society people were nice! they had food and drinks left from some welcome tea and agm they held at the adjacent classroom so they offered them to us (hungry people) who were waiting outside.

had lms nite yesterday. hmmm actually not as 'high' as i imagined it to be. but okay lah. the food was from elsie's kitchen so quite nice. and i love the pastries. so pretty and delicious. after this 'self-intro' session and food, we practically just slacked around the place playing games like pool and cards. anyone wanna teach me bridge? im still a bit lost. =p the location was quite good as well even though it was a little ulu. whoever decided to rename it SRC from yunnan corner? now there are two SRCs on campus. sports and recre centre, and staff recreation club. -.-" well, the tv was in use the whole night so i missed my fei teng bing dian. ='(

felt super lazy today so didnt go jp library to study. went gek poh for breatfast and grocery shopping with parents then im back. it kept raining on and off so no point going out also since i'll be confined to the indoors (which leaves me with only shopping and studying). cant go swim!!!! nice weather to stay in bed and sleep sleep sleep! think im really turning into a pig already, if i continue eating and sleeping and eating and sleeping. =p nah, i didnt even nap... watched videos on youtube and window-shopped online for the whole day. man, there's hsinghai tomorrow and i ought to be practising but heck.... (ooops) dont feel like studying also. it only the end of the third week~! hmmm came across this anime movie called 'grave of the fireflies'(火垂るの墓 hotaru no haka). its semi-autobiographical and is quite nice and really sad/touching even though you cant deny its an anti-war movie on WWII. wiki page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grave_of_the_Fireflies

ARGGHHHH I HATE THIS!!! MY POST DISAPPEARED JUST LIKE THAT AND I HAVE TO RETYPE EVERYTHING!!!

okay... the past weekend was quite eventful... went out study at je library in the morning. then there were no tables left so went to the cafe near the entrance. it happened that there was an event/talk there so quite distracted. channel 8 reporters were there to interview some of the participants too! went to get something to eat at jec then continued "studying". actually i think talked more than studied lah... =p after that went imm for dinner and just nice when i stepped out of the place, xiaowen called, so zoomed all the way to esplanade to watch echoes of the valley co concert in which xueqi was guest performng.

hmmm so about the concert, actually nothing much to say lah. went in one song late, then could hear han tian lei from outside. the suonas were like off tune lor! they let us in before the start of the second song. our seats were right in front. first row, middle, to be exact. its like sooooo near the stage. actually there are pros and cons of sitting in the first row lah. con#1: neck will be very tired after the concert from all that looking up. con#2: cannot see most of the performers. con#3: the performers will think you are staring at them cos they can see you very very clearly from the stage. con#4: the conductor's baton may hit you if it flies off his hands (which in fact happened, just that the the baton didnt really fly, it just sorta slipped of and dropped in front of the conductor. phew~) pro#1: can see the soloists very clearly. hehehe. pro#2: you have a wooden "wall" in front of you to paint imaginary pictures while listening to the songs (and not having the program booklet helps), or to play with reflections/shadows or whatever. pro#3: get to hear the raw sounds produced rather than the amplified sounds which you get if sitting further (which is so not fun). actually thinking about it, the first row seats are the second best seats when listening to an orchestra. the best seats are, of course, the performers' seats. =p haha so about the concert, really liked the yunnan hui yi (though it sounded a bit weird to me). my all time favourite! ^_^ (especially the second movement) i remember i used to listen to that song a lot when i was in sec 2. it there was one thing which made me looked forward to watching the concert, its definitely this song. haha so cool they put it as last song. yunnan hui yi rocks! or rather liu xing rocks! haha somehow a lot of his compositions always have the calming effect on me. i guess its how he can make the 余音 reverberate into the silence. contemporary, yet dont sound so out like pop. eeeks. which makes me mention the encore version of han tian lei, which is like so pop lah!!! yea, its requires a great deal of technnicality, but so sad its just so not my type. =/just personal preference lah, im more on the purist/traditional co side bah.

finally went down to hsinghai yesterday, though still abit lazy. i snoozed for almost 1.5 hours(in my comfortable bed and with the air-con on), and all the thinking about the travelling.... but in the end still dragged myself all the way down to bugis. hmmm. the new songs are not that hard bah. practice more then should be at least able to get it le. went to eat bak chor mee for lunch! ^_^ like so long didnt eat already. stayed till quite late after prac, so when i got home its dinner time le. just in time for the table tennis finals too. yays Singapore got silver! quite expected, cos after all the team was competing against China, plus i think the allocation of the players were not to our advantage. never mind, silver is good enough already. 1st medal in 48 years, and guess this is already a nice enough birthday present for Singapore rite?

woosh~! tomorrow having lessons till 4.30pm, then theres wsc interview at 6.30pm and then co welcome tea at 7pm. long day ahead~!

woah... Singapore came close to an olympic medal yesterday, when Tao Li came in 5th in the 100m butterfly stroke. haha was quite a great job, considering the fact that the swimming arena is a though one to compete in. she's still so young so im sure she still has lots of potential. oh and michael phelps sure is strong, he got 3 gold medals already! now waiting to watch the table tennis, sailing and syncronised swimming items. ehhh can pon lessons to watch? =p

yea, today have been a great day so far. first tutorial in uni life, first tutorial in august, first tutorial this year... okay, whatever. tutorial wasnt as scary as i imagined. and today's also the first day in ntu for the tutor. so we were like equally lost. then the tutor thought whiteboard markers and a visualiser would be provided, so didnt bring her own markers and transparencies. lol in the end, we spent 15 minutes for self-introduction. chance to boast how many languages we speak, and lms students sure are talented. well, im stuck with only two and i cant possibly count japanese as one. hmmm, trust me, language can be lost. i remember vaguely i could speak malay, hakka and teochew as a little kid back then (about 1.5 decades ago =p) but now they're like totally gone with the wind. hahaha.

after the tutorial, went to the IT fair(nothing much!!!) then the cca fair. yepps i joined back co!!! gonna be the last time in my life i can join a school co, so better grab the chance. then there's this english and drama club which i joined too. still considering welfare services club and japanese appreciation club and some others. yea... cool rite? but really, there are A LOT of CCAs to choose from so quite spoilt for choice...

oh yeah, just checked my inbox and my appeal for the japanese module is rejected!!! sad sad so now im stuck with 5 modules. think shall not add anymore already. first semester, go easy first.

anyway, today's weather's really nice! soo windy with a little rain. that's my kind of weather. makes me wanna snuggle in my bed/ go out in the rain to play (sounds childish), but really keeps me in a really good mood. and somehow, when it rains, everything outside the window looks beautiful. or when under very strong sunlight, everything looks beautiful too. lol okay, shall go make coffee. need some badly... haha =P

a kinda last-munite post... hahaha its almost 12 am, so a quick Happy Birthday, Singapore! k lame, i know.

hmm watched the olympics opening ceremony yesterday. most would say thats its so breath-taking and facinating to watch. well, im actually rather neutral to it. after all, they are only introducing a few aspects of Chinese culture to the rest of the world. effects wise so-so only. it just seemed better because i watched it on HD-5 i guess. but i admitt it would be a totally different thing if i was there at the stadium watching the thing live. then again, it isnt really THAT facinating right, some laser effects and A LOT of performers. when i was watching it i was thinking "hey, do they need so many people, they can make use of simple machines (like the trusty wheels) you know. probably just showing off their manpower." and fancy wearing a t-shirt when appearing in front of a worldwide audience. heard from radio today at the hairdresser's (yes, i went back for touch up) that in a poll, many people like that painting-using-hands segment best. okay, i admit its quite impressive to be able to draw near perfect circles while executing dance moves, but yea, there are people who even draw with their butts can? art has no limit to it, so anything is possible... and the fireworks display, depite being a long one, were limited to a few types only, nothing special, no surprises. okay, im not being anti-China or something. in fact i love chinese culture etc etc, but just think that the whole thing is just overrated. it SHOULD have been perfect if they have been practising for 2 - 3 years....

on the other hand, i was watching ndp on TV earlier in the evening (boohoo no luck with tickets again this year, and why isnt it on HD-5 or HD-8 or HD-central or whatever???) and found it to be a rather pleasant one to watch. i cant help but notice many similarities to the olympics opening - the boats, the birds, the flying in air with fire, martial arts... hmmm. but other than that, there were lots of small, pleasant surprises, nice effects, nice fountain etc. the committee sure knew how to make use of the resources (water platform, so the surrounding water area was also part of the stage featuring water sports, boats etc. and of course the supply for the fountain.) liked the nice/ funny coustumes, and the recycled material merlion-dragon (made from CDs), and the human-statues thingy. who says Singaporeans aren't creative people? and finally got to saw Joi (too bad cant watch live!!!). surprised again, she was singing in English, with Hady! thought she was goning to sing the Chinese version of the song. I have to admit Hady is quite a good singer as well, and i simply LOVE the first part of their rendition with unique blending. but once it became faster i didnt like it a lot. hahaha. oh and i liked Joi's star star earrings, so nice! ^_^ okay, in case you dont know, im quite crazy over star earrings, or actually anything starry =p then of course there was the fireworks display which was beautiful, and this year's display was like exceptionally long (or is it me?). argh i kept wishing i was there... somehow, i find im not so surrounded by the national day mood this year, probably due to the fact that the school does not celebrate national day as a school (no national day celebration concert, no free food, no free gifts... okay thats not the point), only waiting to watch the ndp which i look forward to every year. and at the end of the parade, while the whole stadium was singing the national anthem, i suddenly realised i havent been singing it for the past 9 - 10 months already. kinda miss morning flag-raising sessions...

yea, just baked a not-so-successful batch of chocolate cupcakes after watching the ndp. edible, just not very tasty. my sis says its too sweet, i think its not sweet and not chocolatey enough. oh man, opposing opinions. was very tempted to get those cake mixes while buying ingredients for the cupcakes, but i decided that would be cheating! like finding and memorising the answers before a surprise test was given. a successful batch would be one which everyone says its nice withno opposing opinions! no, im so not gonna give up. more experiments in future when im free (when would that be?) just watched the olympics women's volleyball group match between USA and Japan. so sad Japan lost, but it was really a close fight between the two teams. nice match heh. and its really bad timing for the olympics cos its distracting me from my school work! i've already promised myself to work had in uni, cos i need to. have been slacking for the past few years, resulting in grades that barely scraped pass, too dangerous liao... but im so gonna watch the swimming comp tomorrow... and so cool tao li qualified in 4th place today... =S

hmm as for school, still havent really fully settled in. tutorials gonna start next week, stress man... and i havent even completed any tutorial assignment! drafted out one which was 20 questions long but havent transcribe the draft from tk's squiggly writing to standard, proper writing. gosh, there's so much to do already, really thankful that monday's a holiday. so, so far, one thing i dont like about this new-to-me school system is that you dont attend lessons as a class, so you dont really have the chance to interact and mix with people from your own division. haix sad rite, whats worse, im not the kind who would open up to everyone (i think few people have seen my crazy side) or go bother to know every single person, or rather, self-introduce to everyone. like, for what??? some people just say for networking, good for future, (some are even apple-polishers hoping they can gain something in future, not that im mentioning anyone specifically, but they do exist), but i just find it lame. 0_o i'd rather have a few close friends than many many aquaintances... and in this new, unfamilar environment, people just come and go... this semester can be classmates, next semester maybe not, its hard to forge strong bonds... sad sad sad rite?

school starts!

whee~ its really fast. its already one month since i quit my job and its the first day of school today. hmm what i can say is that so far so good. quite enjoyabe for me.

went for the welcome day for hss last friday. oh man, blur me thought it started only in the afternoon so i turned up at 1.30pm. yeah great, it actually started at 8.30am if im not wrong? and i think i misssed out on quite a lot of briefing stuff. gahhh. well yeah, so many new faces. and maybe its because im so used to being in a small class with only 14 people for 2 years in jc, 52 people seemed like a lot of people to me though its probably one of the the smallest divisions. and being in a rather chinese environment/class for the past 4+2=6 years, the new environment needs a little getting used to. hmmm. or is it because we're still unfamiliar with one another, so we tend to converse in english? *shrugs* hey, but the lecturers are quite nice/ fun/ funny/ interesting i think, and i love interesting teachers. thats probably one of the reasons why im in linguistics and multilingual studies now. somehow, for the past few years, my favourite subject is still lit/english partly because of the fact that each of the teachers are interesting in their own ways which really facinate me. interesting teachers = not so boring lessons = love for the particular subject? okay, sounds cliché but i think its true. other reasons are probably 1) rv promotes bilingualism, and i was in ilep in jjc. and being a nice/guai student, i decided to join lms cos its the course which comes closest to bilingual studies. 2) new course, so in the spirit of kiasuism, went to join the course. well, the above 2 reasons are crap. say that at the admission interview and i'll be a gone case. lol. oh well, talking about lms, do i really not look like an lms student? hah. cos i think a lot of people gave me the shocked/ surprised look when i told them im in lms. and please stop asking "so you get too learn other languages???" whenever i mention "multilingual studies". quite irritating, you know. linguistics IS DIFFERENT from languages. and 4 years for learning a few languages is wayyyyy too short, though i really wish i can! like learn japanese, french, italian, korean, tamil, malay... that'll be sooo cool. but i've got insufficient brain space~! lol

i was very very bad yesterday cos i pangseh-ed hsinghai. wahaha, very naughty right? and i went to cut hair, then got persuaded to rebond my hair, so i rebonded my hair. errr... so yups, quite straight now, but not as flat cos i did soft rebonding. but i think it really takes a lot for my hair to be tamed, so the hair kinda starts to curl back a little already? >.< finally can wash my hair tomorrow and i hope it will self-straighten when i wash it, if not must go for touch-up this weekend. and the 4 hours of rebonding wasted 4 hours of my time. which means i didnt have time to go shopping after cos its already 6+pm? and i wanted (and needed) to buy so many things. pencil case, wallet, clothes and more clothes. seriously, i urgently need lots and lots of NORMAL clothes. hahah hopefully can go shopping sometime this week.

today had the first official lesson. as i said, so far so good. lesson was damn cool can? we got to watch video clips, listen to songs etc. and the lecturer was saying that she tried going into some shop in town and spoke to the salespersons in hokkien to test their reaction. haha sounds like fun right, maybe i should go try. =p anyone wanna be my accomplice? lol luckily i chose linguistics, at least its rather fun. i cant really imagine myself doing other subjects like chinese (woah my second choice i think, but 2 traumatising years of chinese language and lit is enough), econs, biz etc. i will just die lor. but there are many other choices which are super tempting like those from comms and art, design and media. still thinking taking up courses from there for unrestricted electives (ue). oh yeah, shall go now, gotta bid for modules tomorrow at 10am. there are many many interesting ones which i am considering for ue - theres music composition, animation, digital darkroom, hist of singapore, ceremics, orchestration and arranging, studies in japanese music/ chinese music, performance and theatre skills (ahh my theatre studies) - just to name some im interested in, but i guess for now i shall just focus on the major requirements / prescribed electives first... nite all!

T_T sad sad. *sobs*but nevertheless they have indeed done us proud not like what one of the judges said. hes so bad lah. grrr. btu nevermind, jinglun's the 人气王 (very funny leh 人气王 dont usually win competitions unless its like majority decided by viewers' votes) even though he took part in a foreign competition so i guess he has lots of potential in the maket already. jiayou jiayou~!

woosh! had a busy weekend. went top one ktv at bugis with suyang, mica, yini, jiaxin and grace yesterday. lalala~ the session was from 11am to 6pm. longest i went to ever. hahaha damn shuang can sing so long. and we played the K歌王 game. ahhh very suay lah kept getting the songs im not really familiar with so only got 1 correct which was 祝我生日快乐. then 你最珍贵 got 1 word wrong. =/ so sad didnt get the easier songs. like fish's or fir's songs cos the probability of me remembering the full song for their songs is quite high bah. =p nevermind lah, the punishment is not really punishment lor. can get to solo! =D but the genre is chosen by drawing lots. so i got one 舞曲and one slow song to clear. sang 特务J for the fast song and the slow song isnt a problem cos i sing slow songs like all the time. -.-" so sad didnt get the mixed drinks as punishment. very curious to know what fruit punch, green tea, apple, grape, and mango soda taste like together. =p hmm went eat steamboat buffet dinner at the shop beside the ktv, then went home. the steamboat was okay lah. about $20 per pax, the soup can choose 2 types. yay there was tom yam!! ^_^ and ice cream for dessert. was quite early - about 8.55pm when we left bugis. could have gone to take neoprints but i wasnt very enthusiastic about it cos really not much point since siying and grace wernt there. really want a photo of the 7 of us badly ;_;

today was fun!!! had rvco pipa gathering. so met chuanhan, yiqi and meihui at clementi to buy ingredients for tiramisu then meihui's dad came to fetch us to xinying's house. reached there to wait for the other seniors coming. weijie, yingqing and her bf, and siqi then came with the rest of the ingredients, while chuanhan left for her piano lesson. =( okay, so the making of tirammisu is quite easy it seems, just that it requires a lot of effort to make it layer by layer, plus the rather expensive ingredients, thats why its so expensive when they sell it outside. soo good no need to use the oven, cos im rather lazy to preheat and setup and stuff. so yea. just make then throw it in the fridge. and that was what we did in a hurry. layer by layer, dump the whole box in the fridge then zoom! off we went to rendezvous hotel for high tea buffet. ^.^ the lighting was quite dim eh... but the food was quite nice, and they have sushi! plus they have the 2 for 2 promotion, so when 4 people go, only have to pay the price of 2 persons. there were 8 of us so just right. hehe and it comes up to about $16 per person. not too bad considering the quality of the food. the bread and cake pudding was quite delicious. ahhh theres this durian fudge cake too. ate till too full le didnt have anymore stomach for the other desserts. they had choc coated marshmellows and icecream and caramel pudding. =/ went back to xinying's house to rest and chat while waiting for the food to digest. lol everyone was like so bloated till all of us felt like sleeping. haha. ok so some time later we checked out our tiramisu!!! was okay i would say. would have preferred it less wet with more sherry. but some like it wetter i guess. hmmm. so we ate our tiramisu then went home. whee~ managed to get a lift right to my block! tired! its 3.45am and im hungry ( the time for this blog post is not accurate. i purposely adjusted it for recording purposes =p) okay shall NOT go find something and eat. must jian fei liao. hopefully can head to the gym some times this week. hehe. must burn off some calories man. 2 consecutive days buffet leh. even if it doesn really burn of my fats, at least it'll make me less guilty. =p

the photo which i said i was going to post. can see the top of the hdb buildings and this is from what is supposedly level one. paiseh the picture isnt very clear plus its a bit slanted plus can see very few buildings. the rain further reduced visibillity. the actual view would have been super breathtaking. you've got to be there to see what i mean. hahaha.

this brings me to my trip down to ntu yesterday. i set off when the rain seemed to have subsided. so glad when i stepped out of the house. BUT when i reached the school, it began to rain again. wasnt very heavy when i got there so i just walk in the rain (despite my persistent flu which has been with me for the past week). yep, and up the dreaded stairs (well, actually not that bad). when i got out of the ssc, it was already raining cats and dogs. believe it or not, although about half the path from the ssc to the 179 bus stop is covered, and i was using the brolly, i was still quite drenched when i got to the bus stop. T_T so went je straight after that to shop+go library. whee~ fresh air man. i cant stay at home all day eh... hehehe.

oh yea man, found out that yiqi and chuanhan both going ntu! yeah yeah! somehow i think this year quite a lot of people are going ntu. heard from kelly quite some time ago also. hmm. ( but i still dont know anyone going lms!) ahhhh. hmm yiqi should be joining co, hopefully chuanhan does too then we can be section mates again after 3 years! whee~ happy happy happy. you guys stay happy tooo yea~! im signing out~!

morning~!!!! haha almost noon already. no, in case you are commenting on how lazy i am, i didnt just wake up. actually woke up at 8+ and went downstairs to have breakfast with mum. (so early rite... -o-). plus went to posb to get my thumbprint on the giro form which im making a trip down to ntu again later to submit (thank goodness its near). wanted to settle the form by last week and send to ntu by post. (okay, actually the distance to the postbox and to ntu isnt different by a lot =p) then when i took it out on friday, i realised i had to go down to the bank's branch to get my thumbprint on it. if only i could ask someone to get it for me, but they needed my thumb. hmmm... -.-" and, the worse thing was the deadline for submission is today. so i figured if i rushed down on saturday to get my thumbprint, then send by post, the thing might not have reached by today. no choice, gotta submit it by hand.

nice weather today, so windy. and its raining! haha good day to stay in bed. but the rain detered me from going to ntu straight after breakfast after thinking about the long flight of stairs that leads to the ssc. awww. hate climbing stairs on rainy days. but i must get the form there. by today. by 4.45pm. so hope the rain stops quickly (or has it, already?). hehe probably going to the library and shopping alone after that. okay i promise i'll take a photo at ntu later and post it up here. lol. the view from level 1 of ssc. haha. woo~ yesterday was hhco concert. ok lah. at least the number of people who truned up was more than expected. but i think they gave away quite a number of complementary tickets. =/ i dont know, but yesterday's concert wasnt one that i really looked forward to. always had this feeling that i want to get done and over with it. and its finally over~ haix i think theres a need to find back the feeling. the initial feeling i had a few years back. 最初的满足感, 最初的感动... now its just numbness. concerts dont hold any special meaning anymore... i think partly its because there isnt a need to work as hard in the preparations. theres one group of people working very very hard, then theres this group of people who totally bo chap? then for most its just practising songs and trying to sell tickets. and there isnt a unified sense of belonging i guess. people come and go. you see them in this concert, and by the next they not coming already. i think an advantage of schools' orchestras is that people are more bonded. like in a concert, everyone has his/her role... everyone works towards a common goal, and everyone puts in lots of effort because its their very own concert. nevertheless, took some photos yesterday, and i want the photos!!! xw send me!!! oh, and im soooo going to watch rvco's concert on 30 Aug. i do miss my dear juniors and i want to see the new batch too. hopefully, i can find the meaning i have lost, get moved but the music, and more importantly by the spirit that bonds each and every member. 默契. only when everyone is united can good music be produced. and good music doesnt mean technical perfection. it means music with heart. <3

okay, probably rambling after not writing for sooo long. awww i miss my 作文s and gp essays... but i guess i'll get to write quite a lot when school starts. sooo miss the feeling of flowing ink on paper. =p have been using the computer way too often lately. just changed my specs in jan and that day's eye test showed my eyesight deproved by like 2 rows again. in jan the optician said my eyesight more or less stable le... >.<

concert's over, jap lessons ended, health checkup done, job assignment completed... so... im quite free from now till school starts!!! yays! anyone wanna hang out? yeps. few things to complete this week: 1) submit giro form 2) complete some work dad assigned me (drawing some floor plan using com (ahhh my eyesight!)) 3) collect a level cert. other than that really nothing much to do. probably going to the library, starting some craft projects and try cooking/baking. and i can laze about and watch all the tv i want. yays so excited! lalala~ =p

this week quite enjoyable? i've quit my job so quite free le. wahaha.

monday went back office even though my last day was supposed to be last friday. cleared some remaining stuff then hand in time sheets. oh man so sad, so went lunch at vivo, then go shop around...

hahaha tuesday went kbox @ kallang with xueqi and ivan. too bad no big tv screen. last time i went they gave us a big room with a big tv even though there were only three of us...

wednesday went for health check up at ntu. wanted to go on tuesday morning but it was raining so a bit lazy to go. hahha. still okay bah, not as scary as i imagined. took about an hour only i think. then went to find this student services centre (ssc) to hand in my tuition grant form. i knew the building was just directly behind the school of business/humanities but cant find the path which leads to it. saw the looong flight of stairs and was daunted by it. so went one round over to the chinese heritage centre but there was construction work going on so the path was sealed and i had to head back. asked around then they said theres a linkway from the highest level of the building. haha. yupps something very amusing. the highest level of the building is level 1, then the supposed level 1 is b5! i was like 0_o. then its damn cool to see the top of the surrounding hdb flats and buildings when im at like level 1? should have taken a photo eh... but my phone memory was full!!! ;_;

thursday morning was slack. tried to study for my jap test which was later in the day but cannot really concentrate. havent been studying for like more than half a year? brain rusty le... so decided to make sushi to eat. no one cook lunch for me boohoo. made onigiri instead but dont have much ingredients except for like koshian, 2 packs of furikake and canned tuna so had to made do with them. grrr. tried making yaki onigiri too, which is onigiri that is like toasted? whats "煎"? dunno how to say. you know, put in the pan then wait for the sides to turn brown. -.-" hehehe quite nice... the funny thing was that i went to sakae to eat with suyang again for dinner. so i just ordered some side dishes, cant eat sushi any more. carbo..... >.<>

yesterday went meiji factory at noon but like the stuff not really very cheap so didnt buy a lot. went jp after that to find suyang to eat lunch and walk around. went home practise a while before going hsinghai. not bad lah. quite a lot of people turned up.. then there was this 10 minute break + a few songs we dont have to play so xiaowen and i went to dabao our dinner. so poor thing rite. having dinner at 9+... furthermore the pantry was occupied by guanyue people, so we had to eat outside at the round wooden table which had no chairs. ended up squatting/standing/kneeling to eat. bleahx...

ahhh no one wants to buy my tickets!!! any last orders? usual price 12 bucks and im selling at 10 bucks. 2 dollars discount if you buy from me! you can also buy the tickets at SCH before the commencement of the concert but you'll have to pay the full price of 12/16 dollars. call/sms me if interested. haha. and i go prac a while before mum's friends come later. so scared of the "below the big green mountain" and "die of hunger"... grrr. hope everything goes well tomorrow bah. d a jia gambatte!!!! p(^_^)q

er... actually, i dont know what to post really. these days are getting boring again. and work's getting busier. it really piling up and i dont know how i can finish everything before i leave. before i could complete something, i've got something else coming in. grrrrr. so sad right. and I DONT WANNA EXTEND!!!!!

oh yea. discovered something when i was going home yesterday. Hui Jun's birthday is one day earlier than mine! sooo cool! hahaha. now im wondering if temps are assigned to a place according to birthdate or name or whatever. though i have a feeling its totally random lah... >.<

today's jap class was okay lah. but i got in late. for two consecutive weeks already. so paiseh. when i got in harumi sensei still "kon banwa" me. even more paiseh. lol. and i heard everybody was like late today. errrr. hmm stopped at this store in tanjong pagar mrt which was selling taiwanese snacks on the way home with suyang, xihui and daphane. and there was this offer for mochi buy 3 packs get 1 free. so we bought 1 each. yays my green tea one (learnt o cha today but i knew that before already lah. who doesnt? =P) was nice! :) its the jap craze after jap lesson. woo~! yea, the store's selling taiwanese snacks but we realised many packagings have japanese on them... hmmm. and we were trying to read off the packagings. haha. yea and we ate the mochi-s in the store. and we were like exchanging flavours cos all of us bought different ones. but i still like my green tea one best. lol got more green tea when i felt thirsty and bought a bottle of it. hehehe i kinda have this green tea craze today. hmm perhaps tomorrow too cos i plan to drink my jap green tea i brought to office. hahaha. and im going sakae tomorrow. tea rocks! especially jap green tea. and i realised i got rid of the coffee addiction when ms harumi asked if i drank coffee today (in jap lah). lol. hmmm new tea addiction! =P

lol planned to come online just to watch my azumanga daioh which i havent watched for a week or so but somehow, i ended up checking my mail and blogging. hmm looks like i'll have to watch tomorrow or over the weekend cos its getting real late (or shoud i say early?). booo. shall go to sleep le. haha hsinghai practice today, which was brought forward by 1 hour again. sian sian. cant wake up so early, in the end i was late again. >.<

went to eat xiao wan mian during break which was half an hour, so in the end we were about -15 minutes early? hah. after prac stayed back to play play a while lor. haha quite fun. bao chun gave us chewing gum and some snacks! yay! hahaha. in the end we took one pack of gum each then stored the rest in the instrument shelf. =) hehe and xiaowen wear same colour as me today!!!! purple shirt and white shorts. lol. so coincidental, never agree on it beforehand de wor! xiaowen send me the pics! hahah.

arggghhhh need to go back to work tomorrow. sooo dont feel like going to work le. I WANNA QUIT!!!! argh but then again... haix. furthermore, the school holidays are here, which makes work even more unbearable especially in june which has no public holidays. so sad... :'(

四川的地震已经发生了一个多星期。看很多人都纷纷的在部落格上舆论这个话题，我也来凑凑热闹。其实最近不知怎么的，好像发生了一场又一场的天灾。（我是应该很庆幸自己住在安全的新加坡）今早看报纸时，报章有报道说四川大地震中罹难的人已经有3万多人，而也有人预计这个数目会增加至超过5万人。当时我的反应是“好恐怖哦！”，在脑海里设法想象5万人到底有多少，但想来想去还是没有办法想象。唉，这场灾害不知害了多少人。死的死，伤的伤，侥幸逃过死神魔掌的人也未必幸运。他们可能就在这地震中失去了亲人，朋友，同学，并且需要面对这突如其来与残酷的事实。

唯一能让人感到欣慰的是，这场灾害让我们看到了人间的真，善，美。因为这地震，我们看到了人们不遗余力地奋斗着，帮忙着。即使希望是多么的渺茫，大家也都没放弃。前天晚上在电视上看见了一则关于这地震的新闻：有一位妇女为了保护自己的婴儿，双膝跪地，并双手扶着地支撑着身体，身体下面躺着婴儿，自己却被塌下来的房子压死了。她还在手机上打了个简讯，放在孩子身边。简讯是这么写的：“亲爱的宝贝，如果你能活着，一定要记住我爱你。”那婴儿就这样才会安然无事的。母亲为了孩子牺牲了自己的姓名，实在让人感动不已。在网上也看到了这样一句话：“求生是人的本能，而在生死一瞬，伟大的父爱和母爱却超越了本能。”这话说得贴切不过了。

话不多说，就把这首 “When You Believe” 献给地震的受害者，给他们希望与勇气走出黑暗，因为黑暗面不是永恒的。

okie im back to blog! hahaha! dont know what to write...

sat went partyworld! woo~!!!! finally get to go ktv le! argh realised there are still a lot of songs i wanna sing but there wasnt enough time. hmm realised that there are whole-day rates for playing lan, so are there any for ktv-s??? had dinner at pepper lunch (should be called pepper dinner since we were having dinner =P). their serving was HUGE... till i didnt have any more space in my stomach for the green tea ice cream afterwards. awww. their green tea ice cream is super nice!!! ^.^

sunday had hsinghai. got a shock when i reached as i only saw ivan there. the thing was that i thought i was considerably late. hmm. luckily i was in 'okay' condition so still managed to play alright? xueqi came later then practice kind of ended about 1 hour after she came. lol. after practice ended slacked around and I GOT TO PLAY THE LIU QIN!!!! yay yay. i've been waiting to lay my hands on a liu qin for about a year already (ever since SYF ended last year?). okay, more than a year. haha. argh too long didnt touch so quite rusty already. hmmm i wonder why the liuqins at hsinghai dont have fine-tuning... went NAFA there to have lunch/dinner. yay the murtabak was nice! and very filling so it lasted me the rest of the day. oh yea, poor plastic bottle got squashed when it was trying to cross the road. totally flat. poor thing. 过马路记得要小心. oh well, just trying to be lame.

went back hsinghai and saw yiliang who came to collect the scores. whee~ think didnt see him for almost half a year already? since he dropped by SCH during our previous concert. hmm yups. hope he can come play too yah? then pipa will have 5 people! lolx. cool neh, its like pipa's always the most complete section during practices. yays pipa rocks!!! (^.^)V went paradiz after that to hang around before concert. lol its like we walked around to find lan shop but in the end still ended up at the arcade. but i didnt play anything cos the machines were so not fun. #1. i didnt see daytona, #2. i didnt see any basketball machines. =(

concert was kind of disappointing. was sooo looking forward to the pipa concerto. but well, i shall just not say anything. one more scary thing is that the erhu-s' high notes were sort of scary. squeaky and out of tune. almost made my hair stand on end man. okay, im not trying to be mean. now i can understand why xiaowen was traumatised by the erhu in primary school. oh yea and talking about erhu, i donated to this erhu busker at orchard on saturday cos i think he played well. really. very long didnt hear really nice sounds coming from the erhu le. hmmm. its quite surprising how the same instrument can touch someone till tears, as well as freak someone out. haha.

arghhhh i feel like quitting my job already! i NEED to do many other things which i've been putting away for too long. and im starting to get sooo bored till i doze off. its either i contracted some sleeping disorder or my body's telling me "that's it. quit now!" it like the same one i had last time. i feel sleepy once i start on my homework. but once i put it away, im fully awake. -.- isnt a very good thing huh? but ive talked about quitting my job, only to get objections. (got money earn, why dont want?) like wth, cant i decide for myself!?!?! the only thing i will feel bad about is leaving the team to handle the heavy workload. maybe i shall stay on to help complete the june stp reports. hahaha. which means ive gotta stay till at least early july, which is a long time from now... =( hmm how now?

have been daydreaming a lot recently. about things that are impossible. its all in my imagination. when i open my eyes, reality hits back in full force. its like waking up from a pleasant dream to find that everything is just as it was before, yet different at the same time. why is it that when i close my eyes, a huge plain canvas lay before me, waiting for me to fill it with colours and textures, but once i open my eyes, everything's gone, and whats left is what others carve into stone...

back from hsinghai today. hmm was rather boring again i think. but quite glad to see that tanbo had a lot of people. okay, 7. finally get to hear zhongruan and liuqin. at least tanbo sounds more complete. too bad there was no yangqin. went to eat at the ramen stall for lunch. haha i had kimchi ramen but the rest insisted kimchi and ramen is a weird combination. =/ whatever, its nice lor. kimchi is nice. ramen is nice. so kimchi+ramen is nice! and i think its not spicy enough. hmm back to practice - they decided that we would not play 孔雀东南飞 already. awww. but im quite thankful also cos i think its difficult. (for me lah) and theres this 云雀song for us to play but everything is accompanment. i think the gist of the song would be at the 管乐section, since they are the best at imitating bird songs (especially 笛子 i feel) but the whole section went missing today except for cassandra who plays the 中音笙. hmmm. but i think the song would sound really cute if they are present. somehow, i think i heard the song before, or something similar, but not of this title.

went home after hsinghai to help out with making sushi! yay! going to eat le. maybe post the pics up later. next weeks hsinghai brought forward by 1 hour. and then we are going for ac's concert! haha its like shen laoshi was happy to hear we were going. hopefully it would be great. havent been for a co concert in a long time.

whee~ had the second jap lesson today. its like the already small class size was further reduced to 5. the other 4 sp students didnt come. hmmm. and xi hui still said she saw them shopping at je. -.-" was quite surprised that they changed the teacher too. but i think this teacher is better lah. shhh... and her name's kitty. so kawaii neh!!! her japanese name in kanji is 晴美, so nice too. haha. and she kept asking us lots and lots of question until we can almost memorise the stuff le. overall lesson's quite fun today and im looking forward to the next lesson le. hahaha. went home with suyang, xi hui and daphne. realised that all of us stay in jurong. cool! we are the west-siders. lalala~ furthermore, xi hui and daphne both take 243 home! its like people keep saying jurong is very ulu, especially around this area. but its like so coincidental that we live quite close to one another. good. not scared that there's no one to accompany me back home next time. went to have late dinner (around 10pm) at jp with suyang while the other two went home.

alright, shall go sleep now. have to work tomorrow but its okay cos its friday and friday means casual-friday! yay! hahaha. and i been having the urge to go KTV for a few days le. hmmm. >.<>

okay, xueqi, i shall update. lol.
3 May(Sat): met peiying at the provision shop opposite jj to buy some snacks before going back to jjco. actually ended up slacking. fine, it was my bad idea to go back. =/ and everyone was complaning it was so warm in the hall where the juniors were practising. in the end, after some sitting and talking and eating(not much)and talking to the juniors, we went back down to the LL to continue slacking and chatting and sitting and eating because there was aircon there. hmmm. really have to hand it to the juniors for being able to endure the heat in the hall (on stage some more, which is even warmer). *claps* and yeah, im pretty convinced that they have improved. not really very very very good, but at least improved to quite some extent. even though they were playing 轻音乐, but i can hear the difference from last time le. great job and keep up the good work yah! (i doubt any jjco peeps will read this though)and i really think that under the guidance of the instructors, there will surely be even a greater improvement in the future. and add oil for the upcoming performance!the only thing i felt was wasted was that i didnt get to see any pipa. haix nobody to take care of the poor 10 pipas in the co room. =P and i heard from amy that there was actually one girl playing pipa, and was sort of nominated to be PRES, but she quit! aarrggghhh dont know who it is, gonna strangle her. haha joking.

after that went to imm with peiying, hiongpoh, ben, and yuqi(did i get it right? i realised im not good at remembering names. >.<) ben drove us there! woo~! er well walked and walked and walked around. haha. ben left early to go fetch his sister. went eat at the level 1 like-kopitiam-dont-know-is-kopitiam-or-not place. the food was quite expensive, but the general feedbak was that the food was quite nice. i had chicken curry with toasted frence loaf, with soyabean drink (they call it soy bean juice. lol) yummy! haha. the drink was nice, since it tasted like those home-brewed ones which i like. not those sugary-sweet canned or box drinks. went daiso and managed to catch a glimpse of 张信哲 during his autograph session. too bad it was so crowded, plus went late, so did not manage to hear him sing and take photographs. home sweet home after that.

4 May(Sun): went hsinghai. haix i dont know but i felt that day's practice was quite boring. somehow i felt that there was a lot of basic stuff mentioned, and so quite a lot of time was wasted. we were given new scores - 孔雀东南飞, which is a 箜篌 concerto. and i dont kow why everyone's saying that the song isnt nice. personally i think its because 1. the orcestra's not full yet, with so few instruments, 2. that was 试谱 so everyone is not yet familiar with the scores. even if he/she is familiar, i think the technical aspect of the song is also higher as compared to the other three, 3. the 箜篌's not in. like duh! what's 梁祝 without the violin? 4. lack of background knowledge on the song (story behind the song etc.) and so, difficult to portray the necessary emotions. ah whatever. i have faith in 何占豪! lol. and i heard the 古筝 one with strings accompaniment, which is quite okay. i guess its just still too early to judge.

after hsinghai went buy scotch tape with ivan and xueqi. no lah its bandage for my fingers. lol 胶布. (in case you are wondering, no, i did not hurt my fingers =P) then we went play audi hahah quite fun although a bit stressed cos everyone in the room like so pro lah! and im still a novice noob. lol. havent been playing in ages. and the stupid computer kept hanging! like grrrrr! i hate the computer. and the stupid sharp edge of the table which killed my wrists. -.- AND it was soooo not warm inside. the aircon's either not turned on, or its not working. haha. after that went nlb cos xueqi needed to return library books. then we got stuck inside cos there was aircon which was super shiok. ended up playing with the e-souvinier machine and trying to score 5/5 for the quiz. the machine cheat our feelings. why no bookmark de?!?!? we got full marks leh! =P after that i went back while xueqi and ivan went in search for their dinner. lol thanks for escorting me to the mrt station! yay i've got 2 bodyguards! heheheh.

okay some other random stuff. do watch 变奏曲 on weekdays, 9pm, channel 8. lol so far i've watched the 2 episodes and found it not bad. hahaha.

accepted the offer for lms at ntu today. decided not to wait for nus le. most probably wont be getting any offers there, as i heard quite a lot of people already got the letters, including those for fass. so yea. even if its a no, nus should quickly send out their rejection letters! dont feel like waiting already, so sorry, first come first serve. hah.

yay! got my letter from ntu on tuesday and it says i am accepted for the Linguistics and Multilingual Studies course! nope, i didn't have the opportunity (and excitement) of opening the postbox and the letter itself. actually received a missed call from mum during work and when i returned her call, she said she saw the letter already. hmph, open my letter without my permission. but nevermind, since its good news anyway. >.< shall think about it an hope to accept the offer quickly since its already my ultimate first choice. really thankful and lucky to have gotten the offer considering i didnt fare well at the a levels and the interview (i think), and that they were only accepting 50 students. even if i get nus' offer (fass, that is, and i think the chances are low), i think i will still choose the linguistics one, since there were quite a few people who were rather against my pursuing theatre studies, and of course, ntu's nearer my home(9 stops to school of humanities and social sciences, by direct bus). that was what i told dr. cavallaro at the interview and i mean it. haha yeah, im lazy... =P

hmm bought these two albums last week - joi's 庆幸有你爱我（改版）and 伍家辉's 虽然我愿意. actually have joi's album already but since the new edition has an extra MV dvd, i bought it just for the sake of the MVs. 20+ bucks gone like that. lol quite a waste of money huh? =P oh well, and i sort of bought 伍家辉's album on impulse. was listening to radio on the way home on the mrt when i heard 虽然我愿意 being played and felt the song was quite nice. but too bad, my battery went flat in the middle of the song so when i alighted at boonlay, i headed straight for cd rama to grab the two cds. didnt really regret my purchase cos for joi's, there were a total of 6 MVs and a few are not even in KTVs (yet). too bad its not karaoke format so cant switch off the voice. hahah. as for 伍家辉's, i kind of like his voice (since the 一人一半 stint) and the style of the songs in the album - kind of relaxing and more laid-back. just like what mica said, quite suitable for a drive in a car. and the bonus MV dvd, has one part about the production of the album so quite cool. pictures:

hsinghai practice

yay!!!! full attendence for pipa at today's hsinghai practice! (^.^)V okay. practice was brought forward by 1 hour today so had to get up early which is quite difficult for me. hmm. in the end was about 20 minutes late but luckily it had not commenced yet. played the same few songs. ahhh, i hope there'll be more nice songs yah. now like so few so practices kind of end early everytime. hmmm... nothing much to say. went for lunch at fortune centre and yup, xiao wan mian again for this week! but its really nice so i dont mind. haha. if you happen to pass by, can go try too! really not bad! oh yea, saw this realy fierce mother while eating. her children were sort of shaking the table so she tried to stop them. i didnt really take note of what the children replied then the next thing i knew, she was telling this daughter to go die after eating. “吃饱了就带你去马路被车撞” so mean right, what a thing to say to a small child. okay i was practically staring at her and i think she noticed but heck. was really disturbed by her words. no, DISGUSTED.

practice ended at 2.15pm. xueqi and ivan went to play lan after that. oh man, made me really wanna play audition again. haven't touched that in ages. hahaha shall try to play it soon. okay okay, next time whole pipa group go play lan or arcade after practice, on mah? haha. went national library to return my library book. then went home. felt like doing some shopping alone again but decided against it since it would be quite troublesome carrying the pipa around in the crowd. =(

came home and took a nap, still tired from yesterday's outing. haha. woke up for dinner then watch 聊斋2! actually a lot people watch it cos its 聊斋, but i watch it cos of fann wong. lol. shhh. dont know why but i like to watch her in period dramas especially. lol. okay lah, but 聊斋2 is nice too.

managed to ransack my backup cds (quite a few of them) to find 打鬼 and 公主. actualy i remember i have 公主 but i dont remember 打鬼. but discovered i have it so, great! hehe. by the way, we will be performing these two songs at the hsinghai concert. i will mention it again when its more or less finalised and i get more details. had this strong urge to listen to 爱诗曲 we played 3 years back so clicked on it to listen. 又是一次的感动. 一次难忘的经验，至今已成为美好的回忆. syf back then was sort of sad/discouraging for us, but looking back at the experience now, the best part was learning how to accept it and creating beautiful memories that will stay in our hearts forever. gonna work tomorrow, so i'll go sleep now. blog again! =)

okay new updates. thursday's jap lesson was quite fun though the pace was a bit fast. when we went in the teacher and 2 students before us were like blabbering in jap already! yup so when we went in they were about half or three quarters down the page. and everything was in hiragana so i was kinda lost since i can only read like only almost half of the basic hiragana characters. bleh. then when she asked what do you say before you eat? i was like "itadakimasu!" straight away. cos that's almost the only one i know (too much anime/ jap shows >.<) oh well actually know some common greetings at first but the rest like what you say when you leave home and reach home is really "huh?" so yup that was what i got to learn. plus there's this introduction dialogue we have to go up and present in groups of 3. quite okay, since there's only 10 people in the class including ms yui (yui is easy to type! okay, very random) so no "big group/audience". no fear, heh. yups actually prefer small group lessons more. there was this 15 minutes break halfway through the lesson so suyang and i went out to have our dinner. toast box's toast. haha. ms yui saw us and said "oishii!" omg, so cute. haha. yup was actually quite nice though i think it would be much better if it was fresh from the oven. went to finish the remainder of our toasts after the lesson at this weird place opposite international plaza. quite dimly lit but nice view of the tall tall buildings. =) okay i guess i cant really complain about the lesson. nice teacher and nice classmates.

friday was quite a busy day at work. had to look for some papers in the archive, check some statements, scan stuff etc. went to imm alone to shop after work. need some time to myself, i guess. bought my sunblock lotion and some titbits for sat's sentosa trip. =)

went sentosa on saturday! happy happy. i havent been there in ages (i think exactly 2 years) so quite a lot have changed. bought brunch at vivo's ljs then took the skytrain to sentosa, alighted at imbiah station, and went to play the skyride and luge (try prouncing this). whee~ that was fun! but throughout the skyride i was gripping my slippers very hard with my toes, afraid that they would drop. (*ahem* ;)). the luge's a lighter version of the go kart and i think its non-motorised and works on the principle of gravity. enjoyed the ride though i drove very slowly. nah, im not good at these rides kind of stuff. and i always have this fear that if i rode too fast i would just tumble out of the cart from the front. -.- went siloso beach after that to chill. (remember your sunblock!!!) decided to rent a bike and went riding with yn from one end to the other end of sentosa (oh well, at least one end to the other of the cycling path) and back to the kiosk. in the end we were late so had to pay another half and hour's rental fee. =( went to underwater world after that to buy tickets which include admission to underwater world and dolphin lagoon. had to go back to dolphin lagoon which is like at the other end of the island as the last dolphin show was 5.30pm. awww... the dolphins we really cute and smart! oh too bad didnt get to touch them. haha 15 bucks for a photoshoot is way too expensive. >.<>

wooohoo~! hi all! i'm back after disappearing for sooo long. so sorry for not blogging yah? finally decided come up to blog since quite a few people were asking me to update. =P so ta-dah! here i am. was on leave from work as i had an interview and writing test at ntu today so had lots of free time on hand after i return home. gave my blog a revamp albeit a little simple (i used preset templates and just added the bits and pieces). rather lazy to find a new blogskin, and good ones are rather rare i can say. so yups, its very very seldom that i get a weekday off work. and of course i have to enjoy today! gonna meet suyang at jp later for dinner and to go check out the piano classes with her. yay~ can go return my library books on the way since they'll be due in 3 days.

talking about the interview (actually, i would rather not talk about it), it was okay, except it was a bit lame. =P i wasnt feeling very nervous or what, and the writing test was only 20 minutes and required us to write only a page on why we like linguistics. BUT i think i screwed the interview. very basic questions, and the interviewer, Dr Cavallaro, was quite nice and friendly. but but but i think i left too many things unsaid. furthermore, they are only selecting 50 students as this will be the pioneer cohort. blah. saw the namelist with quite a number of names on it so i think the chances of my getting it is not very high. grrr. since its over, i can only pray hard and hope for the very best to happen. =(

as for whats going on recently, theres really not much i can say. work work and work. bored. when i come home each day its dinner, then tv then slack around then sleep. sometimes i would feel tired even as i am watching tv. and sometimes, i feel like quitting my job and do what i feel like doing. go shopping alone, go on my long overdue photography tour, just laze around at home listening to relaxing music etc. sometimes its really these simple pleasures that make us happy but everyone's so busy, so cooped up with what they are doing and forget how to enjoy themselves. argh i seriously need to get a life as well. gah..

as for events coming up, gonna start jap lessons tomorrow and i cant wait! so excited about it. going sentosa on saturday also! whee~! its been ages since i went there, so im really quite looking forward to it as well. someone please remind me to get sunblock if not i will become chao da! =P

as for some quick updates... im sorry i havent have much time but really thankful for all the nice birthday (long past =P) wishes and prezzies! u guys know who u are. thank you lots! :)

starting to enjoy work more and more. i am really grateful to have real nice colleagues and for their help and guidance. love them lots too. hehehe. shhh i bet they wont know this. and they still find me too quiet. like urgh... okay i admit i take very long to warm up to people. bleah. =P oh yeah and i still need a life. going to work and then coming back to have dinner, watch tv and sleep everyday isnt exactly the type of life i wanna lead. quite monotonous eh? which really make the weekend sooo precious as yini has pointed out.

anyway, as for cny this year, its quite enjoyable also. had early reunion dinner on sunday. then work was half day on new year's eve, which meant i could leave at 3pm. i know, quite late actually, for half day, but bo bian, bank hours all like a bit weird de. but quite happy can leave early le. went grandparents' place to bai nian yesterday. woosh~ happy happy! this year ang pow got fatter! ahahah shhh... and had fun playing with my cousins. heheh and alot of stuff to eat... *ooops* which means i gonna put on weight again. =P arghhhh help... lol. going visiting again for the next two days, which means there goes my weekend... =P but oh well, once a year only lah so okay. heheh. alright, going off le, see ya guys soon and have a great weekend! =D

BOO!!! haha dropping by for a post.

1st day of work on friday was tedious!!! starting was quite slack. was being shown around and introduced to the people there. hmmm. then since i had nothing much to do just surf around and look at the mails. oh, and im stuck to this laptop. kinda not really used to the keyboard so makes my already-quite-slow typing even slower. lol. later on went do some ppt report stuff. and after that it just got busier and busier. hahaha. then i super slow, lotsa stuff dont know how to do so had to keep asking around. urgh. if it was me i may just get 烦死. luckily the peopole there were rather friendly and patient. quite nice. really learnt a lot. but im still very scared!!!! scared i screw up their stuff and then later get sacked. =( cos its like dealing with clients de so really gia. cant really afford mistakes eh? AND i realised office work's not really for me. i need something more interesting and spontaneous. argh. a bit sian and mundane. i almost fell asleep (oops) but luckily cheryl asked me to go collect paper and stationery with her. felt more awake after walking about. if not whole day sit at the desk really buay tahan. *yawn* towards the end of the day i was really tired, a bit lazy to even walk. so there was this time supposedly after my fixed hours i stoned at the table. after that went off but the doors were locked le and i had no pass so cannot go through. had to trouble others to open the door for me. so paiseh. >.<

anw, yea, after i got home, i finished dinner in like about 10 mins and went down to watch 歌台 some more. haha. was damn tired le but i stayed for 1 hour+. its the 881 fever man. okay at least mine havent subsided. ooops. some people say 881 is overrated but i dont think so lah. at least it created a spark in something local. give it a new lease of life. okay never mind. maybe really help cos there were like quite a lot of people there watching lor. yupps. went home and couldnt really continue watching coffee prince and went sleep. for about 11-12 hours. gosh. haha.

woohoo~ sat was a great day for me! woke up with a headache maybe due to oversleeping but was okay after brunch and a bath. whee~ and i went chinatown! happy happy! haha. thanks guys. love ya all~! lol =)

lol here to blog again. just a short update! hehe. starting work tomorrow, so today's sort of like the last day im free. wahahaha. so scared yet excited about tomorrow. still a lot of uncertainties. some admin job at dbs. and i have to wake up damn early cos starts at 8.30am! then 6.15pm then end. so reach home also quite late le. *boo* but still, hope everything goes well tomorrow!

oh yeah, and i changed blog song! whee~ its from joi's new album 庆幸拥有.蔡淳佳. song title is 倒爱. yea, when i started listening to this album like okay only but somehow, the more i listen the more i like the songs in it. like this 倒爱 song which is the 4th song in the album particularly but i also dont know why. hehe and theres this part of the lyrics "我以为倒着流眼泪，不经过脸不伤悲..." heard that that time, started tearing. okay, totally random. 可能又是作词，作曲与演唱的完美结合... hehe enjoy the song.

yay today's a happy happy day for me! :) haha

happy thing no. 1: went out with lisha for lunch at jp. took a lllooooonnnnnggggg time deciding what to eat. settled for food court, but on the way we saw bento box having 25% promo. so had bento box's udon with chicken kaarage. wanted the soba noodles one but in the end they said no more le so ate udon which i equally like. hahaha jap food rocks! (^.^)V

happy thing no. 2: rushed to singapore discovery centre to watch enchanted. yep i know, im slow. ahahah like the movie's out for so long le and i still havent watched it yet. but yea, at least i went to watch! cos heard quite a lot of comments that its nice. so when we reached there( on th dot at 12.15pm), the person let us into the theatre. heh we booked the whole theatre prior to our visit so we have the whole theatre to ourselves. not bad right, $14 bucks for the whole theatre. lol joking. it just happened that no one else went to watch, so they had to run the movie specially for us. wahahah. considering that we only paid $7 each, which is about the normal cinema ticket price, it was quite worth it. haha jealous right! private movie theatre leh! keke. oh, and the movie was really really nice!!! lots of cute characters, nice songs, interesting twists... woo~ fantastic! haha.

happy thing no. 3: went back to jp after movie to walk around cos decided that it was a weird time to go home at around 2+ in the afternoon. if i went home straight, i would slack the whole day off again. lol. so quite fun lah. hehehe. in the end went back at around 5.30pm. yays.

happy thing no. 4: bought joi's album at jp as well. whee~ have been waiting to lay my hands on her album since release on the 28th of dec. quite a nice album and can say long awaited as the previous one doesnt count cos it was made up of only 4 new songs. the rest were old songs compiled from the previous albums. now the songs are nicely loaded onto my com and mp3. yipee!

happy thing no. 5: received a call from kelly services to say they found a job for me le. at queensway there (much better than ang mo kio or whatever at the extreme north of singapore). and its sorta immediate. although i would rather not work and and do lot of uncompleted stuff, but yea, it usually ends up that i just slack at home instead. so yups. have to go down to kelly services for briefing tmr.

happy thing no. 6: reached home to see that dad bought a laptop home. yay yay yay! haha. but nah, im still using the desktop now, cos my bro needs to configure it and stuff, and i dont wanna burn the laptop like immediately. lol.

happy thing no. 7: went to collect my new specs and get my spares for repair and fixing of the lens. the optician said my degree more or less stabled le so yay too! haha.

happy thing no. 8: er, actually its seven, but good things should come in pairs i.e. even numbers right? so i must squeeze 1 more. eight's a auspicious number too! hahaha. k lah k lah. i get to watch kinship2 (手足2) and the golden path (黄金路), come online and blog, and play games. missed 'front' on central, but oh well, its okay. haha. still a great day for me! :) alright shall go off soon. nite!

monday went marina with chuanhan, yiqi and peishan. met at city hall mrt to go eat at hans at marina square. haha there really self service lor, form ordering to taking food. haa but good also, save on service charge. lolx. my meal was the grilled fish dory(with salad and wedges) one which costs $8.80. quite reasonable, considering that it comes with soup(nice!), garlic toast, a drink and fruit. woo really full after that. haha. after the meal we went walking around. went to arcade and didnt play anything. chuanhan and yiqi played the bishi bashi game. decided not to play lah. play that game will super kan cheong de lor. :p after that walked past the bowling alley and wanted to go in to bowl, but all the lanes were taken le. sad..

realising that we didnt have much to do at marina square, we went to esplanade! hahaha yipee! lol there was this installation at the link to esplanade from citylink mall there called 'laughing gas'. if im not wrong, its supposed to be a sound installation that induces laughter or something. some laughter soundtrack bah. but i didnt hear anything. but somehow when we were standing there we laughed a lot. forgot over what but its not the exhibit lah. lolx and it seems like the laughing gas was working. haha. went walk about some more, took some photos at the link there as well, with those cute and colourful art pieces with a pirate theme done by children. talented i can say, and its nice to know that they are given ample opportunities and outlets for their creative energy and talent. :) went in and there was this storytelling session with piano accompainment. wah they kept mentioning food, make us hungry only. haha. decided to go library@esplanade just to find a place to sit and rest our legs. but the library closed early due to it being new year's eve. bleah. so in the end we sat directly outside the library at the glass door there. chit chat and exchanged some phone content via bluetooth. lolx. and there was this whole group of people who were damn noisy and spoilt the nice peaceful atmosphere. peishan left halfway cos she had something else on. stayed a while longer and got chased off by security later cos they said the place will be closed. bo bian so left lor. but the staff were quite nice. chase us off still kept saying thank you. hahaha.

left eplanade and went back to marina square to buy drinks and chips to eat while waiting for the countdown fireworks! chuanhan bought strawberry sundae while yiqi and i bought mcflurry from macs too! haha. settled ourselves at the huge flight of steps outside marina square at around 8pm. lolx 4 hours of waiting. talked and ate and took photos. haha. kinda fun. that sense of anticipation. woosh. waited and waited. scattered groups of people became crowds then became a whole sea of people. really a lot of people there lor, but sadly didnt see any familiar faces leh. okay lah didnt really take note also. oh yah forgot omention, there was this person who was doing a survey, and was asking chuanhan about how much was spent on stuff from different cathegories. then we spent like quite a lot on food. then the rest the person kept asking but the answer was no almost all the way. then for entertainment cathegory, she said fifty cents on arcade. then we were like lauhing like mad but i think they surveyor didnt find it funny. :/

few minutes before 12am, i think the crowd got high le. cos kept cheering even though like nothing going on. but people were starting to blow bubbles and release helium filled balloons into the air. and there goes the crowd again. lolx. and finally the moment came after 4 hours of wait. needless to say, the fireworks display was beautiful. simply gourgeous. took a few photos only. wanna enjoy the fireworks as they are in the sky and not through the camera(phone) screen. that the downside of fireworks. you can only get to experience the true beauty through your own eyes. no photos can ever replace that. yeah.

went home after that. gosh really had to walk along with the crowd. too bad i didnt time how long we took to walk from marina square to the mrt. wanted to take 502 home de but somehow the road seemed to be closed le and i dont know where to take the bus. so took mrt back, but had to walk home from jp as bus services had ended. lalala~ fancy walking along the streets at 1+am? quite a nice feeling. fresh, cooling air, and few cars and street lights to guide the way. damn shiok. anyway, i didnt really have to worry cos its just about a twenty-minutes walk, and there were people walking with me along the way, probably also back from countdown. haha. somehow, and i dont know why, i just love the streets at night, or past midnight. haha. okay had a fun fun day and a fun fun start to the new year. and here are the photos after a super long post. enjoy:

yoyoyo!!! haha although a bit late again, HAPPY 2008!!!!!!! haha hope this new year would be a great great year for everyone. :) okay since i havent been blogging for the past few days,( a bit lazy) i'll have quite a lot to write so i shall split my entry into a few posts.

sunday was hsinghai concert. hahaha was okay i guess, though a bit disappointed by number of audiences. haix. why got another concert at esplanade...? some more have joi chua!!!! if dont have hsinghai concert i'll go watch liao. not really for the co but to watch joi sing live... hahah its been so long since i watched her perform live, and really, love her voice and her songs a lot a lot. :) anyway yeah, on the flip side, there was some competition! or rather the supposedly full strength of audience was half. (a bit not logical hor) grrrr... lolx.

so well, reached SCH at exactly 2pm. hahaha. quickly left my stuff backstage and then tune pipa and went up stage to practise and get ready for rehearsal. whee~ only need to play three songs, so during the last two songs, i was rotting backstage again. hahaha really rot lah cos other instrus have parts, especially the last song 孔雀东南飞 which only pipa doesnt have! so waited backstage ALONE for like 1 hour+. Zzzz man, bored bored. FINALLY when the rest have finished with the rehearsal, went to eat le. yays, super hungry haha. the food was quite okay to me lah. and i realised that xuehong also finishes eating the rice first and leaves her 料 till the last. lol i always eat like that and people keep saying its weird. oh well. haha saw yiliang also, who is already in ns. so fast! lol.

performance time! i think overall quite good, given that we didnt have much time to prepare for it. lol for me is like 1 month? haha. eeek but somehow i played until a bit screwed lah. got one part i got lost and i dont know what the heck i was playing. haix. :'( although there were some minor hiccups here and there, the soloists were really great man! really did a great job. congrats! oh yea, and during 孔雀, managed to sneak upstairs to the gallery to watch, thanks to ivan(did i get it right again? haha) woosh~ like maze sia need to go through so many doors to get there, but the view was quite good. at least can clearly see yangqin and xianyue there, plus the soloists. too bad tanbo kinda back facing. haha. oh well went back down backstage after that to wait for the rest to come in. haha. packed up before going home with lixia and xuehong.

hahaha like all concerts, reached home super tired, that why decided not to blog. =P but 每一场演出都是一次新的体验，都给了我不同的感触. so actually each concert is different form any other, so its a new experience, a new kind for feeling every time. quite fun i can say. lalala~ :)

华乐最美的声音，不是来自录制好的CD里头似乎完美的乐曲，也不是坐在台下观赏一场音乐会时在耳边环绕的音乐，而是坐在乐团之中所听见的那互相交织着的音符. 以两个字形容--感动.

took me so long to realise and maybe thats really whats keeping me in co all these years. hahaha. no more 成就感 unlike when i first encountered co and 大组 in the sec school days. have been wanting to find back that feeling but rather impossible these few days cos the pieces are like getting more difficult and so making it more difficult to get everything right-all the notes in place, the dynamics and everything. bleahx. or maybe its due to my ever falling standard. =( bo bian. stopped playing for too long le. twice. but really like sitting in an orchestra-whether playing or not. hehe. and i didnt regret going for practice yesterday despite the throbbing headache. on my way, i was practically sleeping while listening to 红梅. heng got up just in time at bugis. the practise session temporarily removed all the pain. thought headache was cured le after practice but it soon returned after 2 or 3 stops in the train and i was beginning to think what would happen if i fainted on the spot. :( luckily made it home at exactly 12am and collapse immediately on my bed after eating 2 biscuits and drinking half a glass of milk. maybe its just the hunger cos i skipped dinner. =P hahaha. anyway prac was quite okay and we went through ALL the songs. yeah... but wasnt very very good and i still got lost at some parts. *sob sob* hope everything will be well tomorrow.

anyway, when i woke up this morning (after almost 11 hours of sleep, that is), i was feeling quite alright and happy that the headache was gone. phew. went out shopping with mum and siblings today. and i feel so guilty for not staying home to practise. i wanted to stay home but they insisted i go. should have insisted i stay home as well. bleah. didnt really buy anything anyway, so yeah. when i reached home, had dinner, watched a bit of tv, and i decided not to practise le. partially out of laziness, partially afraid i would disturb the neighbours. hahah remembered once when my neighbour slammed the window shut when i practised. eeek. so at night can only play 催眠曲 or 摇篮曲. lolx. lalala gonna wake up early tomorrow to wake my neighbours up again. haha no lah. do some last minute practising again before concert (which isnt very good). should have a good 3 hours or so... yeah. i wonder how many people will be coming to watch. a bit gia leh, later lost halfway through a song how??? very malu leh... =P alright, shall sleep earlier today. hope concert tomorrow will be a success and jiayou!!!! hahaha. night all! :)

Merry belated Christmas!!! lol. ok lah. didnt manage to come online yesterday as i was out the whole day. had hsinghai practice in the afternoon. oh well, went in late so 走西口 had already started. after that went through 金翎思.满乡随想 again, which we do not need to play. shen laoshi wanted to dismiss us already but last minute they decided to practise 红梅随想 since the suona peeps were there yesterday. i was like "yay~!" haha. cos i love 红梅. sorta addicted to the song le. :p and its one which has pipa parts. lol. but i still needa brush up a lot on the fast parts. :'( and i wanna memorise the parts so i dont need to refer to scores. but i think my memory is failing me. old le old le. used to memorise scores quite easily last time. hmmm.

yep, so after hsinghai rushed to marina to meet my family and grandpa for steamboat dinner. somehow a bit sian and wished i was home. quite tired also... 反而 feel happier at hsinghai, i also dont know why. maybe got christmas mood. but towards the evening i just had no mood to talk and laugh and all that. didnt eat a lot but my mum kept saying i ate a lot. i think i ate the least lor... didnt touch the prawns(dont like prawns especially those with shells on. k lah! i lazy to peel can?), didnt touch the crab(felt full), didnt eat the fish as well(didnt dare to eat cos looked super white to me, like dead body just taken out of water. quite digusted. -.-) so basically i go steamboat is bo hua de cos i dont touch the supposedly expensive food. hah.

really didnt feel like talking throughout. luckily got my pipa pei me, can hug it. wahahaha. okay i think i really turning 自闭 already. sometimes, i think i really detach myself from the rest that is happening around me. sometimes i like the feeling of being a bystander, watching the things happening around me silently. like the idea of silence mixed with noise, stillness mixed with action. oh, the beauty of it all. and yea, realised i love my pipa lots. intending to make it my bestest bestest friend. 都已经六年了. wahaha. dont play play okay, pipa also have human characteristics de lor. dont laugh. it craves for attention. if dont touch it for too long it will get angry, 发脾气, sometimes even get back at you. on the other hand, it will treat you well usually, if you treat it well and 培养默契. haha. kk, call me crazy. haha. changed my third string yesterday cos my bro broke it while playing(really playing, not 弹奏) with it. but thanks to him i realised i have 钢丝 third string which is not the usual plastic coated ones which i dont really like. then ended up it is thinner than my second string. lol. and my stock of strings and 胶布 running out le. got to stock up soon. thinking to buy all 钢丝. lalala~

today morning woke up by my dad who asked me go moe website to apply for a job for relief teaching. he said i said i wanted to take up relief teaching. like "WHERE GOT!?!?!?" did i said that in my dreams or something? rather pissed. lol. and he said i should find a job, go work blah blah blah. like er yah... i did go find what. just that they dont want me. haha. oh, did i say i turned down a $7.50/hr job offer on the day the few of us went to look for jobs? cos its way too far for me at serangoon. and can everyone please stop convincing me to take up relief teaching cos "the pay is high" i know that, and i went to moe's website before. not that i dont care for money at all. there are stuff i wanna buy etc, but too bad, pay's not a priority for me when considering for a job. oh well. and yeah, even though my childhood ambition was to become a teacher, people do change, and now, its no longer an ambition cos teachers no longer inspire me (except for a few, very few). sorry to all the teachers out there. hah. and im not one who urgently wants to start work. like so no life lah. if theres a suitable job offer, i'll accept, but if not, i can wait. yay, im a slacker, but seriously, why pia so hard? 注定是你的就是你的，注定不是你的就不是你的. 有一天就过一天. everyday's a blessing, so just take things as they are. haha.

watched 881 again just now cos my aunt lent us the dvd. haha. my dad was watching originally but he went off after a while cos he said it was boring. no lor!!! its not boring! i purposely watch again even i knew i would laugh and cry real hard. hahaha like the movie a lot mah... >.<

hey! quite bored online so come here to post a while. went hsinghai today. wooosh lixia gave us christmas prezzies! sooo sweet! thanks! :) went through all the songs except 走西口 so not that bad. shen lao shi wanted to run through jue ru's yangqin solo, 金翎思-满乡随想 first, and almost the whole plucked-string section didnt have parts so we went out to slack. whee~ liuqin people were playing 雨后庭院! 江河水 was next but we didnt have the pipa scores with us. haix. so didnt play. like so bad right. made everyone wait and wait. tsk why didnt i take the initiative to photocopy the scores the last time. stupid stupid me. i deserve a knock on my head. let this be a lesson learnt. :/

went out for lunch at fortune. ordered char siew rice which was sadly not very nice. haha. the meat sooo burnt and dry, a bit too lean also. yiqing(did i get it right?) called it charred siew. lolx. li xia's sandwiches looked super duper pretty. haha should have taken a photo of them. xueqi joined us there as well before going back for prac.

finally pipa got to play in 红梅随想 after lunch. okay 2nd or 3rd time playing and i think i managed to grasp the parts le. always very scared enter wrongly man. but i think i needa practise extra extra hard. 1 week left to the concert and my 快板s are still like cannot make it. and i realised my 跳把s like a lot 反应迟钝 one. grrr i've gotta increase the dexterity of my hands and fingers. who has dex potion? lol. xp anw, i realised i love the 红梅 song. 越听越好听 and i was listening to it on my mp3 on the way home. makes me wanna learn erhu again. -.- after 红梅 was 孔雀东南飞。 no pipa for this song so slack time once more. went out but decided to go back in again. listened to the rest play, and i realised the song sound quite sad and i almost cried. like wth, quite 莫名其妙. haha and is not once but a few times throughout the song. -.- its about a sad story, a tragedy. but the song was really nice too. and i love sad, beautiful songs. :)

prac today ended 1 hour later than usual. but after prac, it was raining heavily so decided to wait a while for the rain to subside before going home. awww... theres prac on tuesday, which is christmas! afternoon some more. hmmm. dont feel like going leh, a bit lazy. haha but i think i'll go lah. gonna start intense practising tomorrow, can lian the whole day cos im free anyway. yays. :) okay go sleep le. nite everyone!

whee back from chalet le! had quite a lot of fun even though sometimes a bit sian in the chalet. hahaha. haha i always look forward to the yearly chalet cos its actually a gathering with relatives. :) but i think i kena gain weight again lah with all that eating. kekeke. lol anyone wanna go gym with me?

so, day one of chalet: went late cos waited for sis to come back from school. reached there almost time for bbq le. starting went help out a bit. but later it rained. aw... at first we bbq-ed in the rain but it got heavier so no choice had to g9o back to chalet. some of them went back to bbq after it stopped but i stayed in chalet to watch tv. my 黄金路!!! lol. boo didnt get to bbq marshmallows. :( had to sleep in the living room cos quite difficult to squeeze 20 odd people in 4 bedrooms. squeezed onto a 2-seater chair instead which was surprisingly quite comfortable. :)

2nd day: some of them went escape but i decided i would go on the 3rd day. so slacked in chalet. haha. some of us decide to take a walk at the park-seaside whatever. walked quite a distance to go see the ponies. sooo kawaii!!! :) i want to own one! lol. saw this small little girl who went to ride on a pony and she's sooo cute too! haha went arcade with cousins later on. 10 bucks gone again. i think the arcade really earns alot, cosidering there are so many people, and if each just give them $10... hmm. :p went back for dinner. had sushi yay! exchanged christmas presents too. haha love my prezzies! :)

3rd day: went escape but like nothing much to play. been ages since i last went there. no more alpha8 which is like my favourite last time. then wanted to play the rainbow ride but it was closed. grrr. so played this ride which is nearest to the entrance (some spaceship like thing) three times in all. so good the staff there gave us two consecutive rides cos no one was waiting in the queue at that time. played with the carnival games too cos we had a stack of free $2 game coupons. dont know where they got that from. hmmm. my cousin pl won a snake soft toy which was the 2nd prize at the wheel of fortune. so lucky! haha. went haunted house too but it was like so small and so not scary. actually of all the rides i was like most afraid of the haunted house cos my sis said last time she went, there was someone chasing you with an axe or something. which sounds scary to me. :S but in the end dont have and everything inside was like so fake. hahah. uncle stephen was at the front and everytime we were turning into another corner he would pretend to be frightened. in the end it bacame funny house cos we were laughing our way through. =P i think the only ride i wouldnt dare take is the inverter cos cant really stand the feeling of being suspended upside down for seconds though i wanted to try that. lol. but in the end didnt go cos no one wanted to. quite sian diao by the limited rides plus the really intense midday heat so in the end went into bk to chill. coke again. lol after chalet super sick of drinking coke le. :P went back chalet for lunch, slack while most of the rest played cards. dont want to so ended up 搞-ing 自闭 again. stayed in room to nap and listen mp3. after that played com games a while (二伯 brought laptop), then went arcade again. hehe at the end we accumulated 220 tickets in all :) but the prizes were like super limited. bo bian exchanged tickets for some stationery. like wth rite. -.- went back for dinner after arcade and then watched tv and played with water balloons. hehehe. but i didnt get wet. lolx

4th day (today): check out lor. home sweet home. hahaha. okay i'll try post some photos if i can. :) enjoyed the chalet but too bad the cineplex wasnt completed if not will have many other activities can do eg k-box, bowling, movie... oh yea, talking about movies, do go watch alvin and the chipmunks. very cute, especially theodore. hehe ;)

seriously, i have nothing much to post. have been slacking the past two weeks or so off. hahaha super sian. but yeah, christams is round the corner!!! :) and the family chalet is in 2 days time! yipee! lolx =P

friday went watch rico's concert at sch. i think it was quite good but somehow my mood was spoilt but shallnt elaborate. especially loved the last two songs. 感怀，the one with guest performers from siong leng musical association was nice. luckily they put up the lyrics or i wont really catch everything they were singing cos it was in dialect. but the lyrics' really sad and beautiful. the last song 激流 was quite good too and i was painting pictures in my head already. haha. oh but did i say i cant really stand people clapping in between movements? like wth... and the last movement 传灯 was very familiar but i cant recall where i heard it from. i remember that at one point of time i liked that song a lot. bleah. but really, the singer sounds weird. wait, is he even a singer? haha. -.-

went out shopping with mum, sis and bro on saturday. wanted to go to my grandpa's for a visit but mum said next week. haha whole day out quite tired.

yesterday was hsinghai practice. omg, dont really like going there these days cos like not very prepared and not much time to prac for concert already. scores not complete also. i very scared leh. pipa also like nothing to play de!!! or rather, they keep practising the songs without pipa. so i was like rotting throughout the session. heng they managed to run through 江河水 at the last part of the session, if not really like 白去一趟. went home alone quietly. dont ask me why. i dont know too. just felt like it. dont feel like talking also. and how i wish i could run run run all the way home. a bit diaox. okay, im an introvert becoming more introverted. lol. maybe one day i will really become 自闭. hah.

okay shall stop here. got some stuff to do to prepare for chalet on wednesday. going out to find job tomorrow also. haha wish me luck.

wahahaha happy happy. cos spent yesterday and today with my dearest 宝贝. dont 想歪 hor, is my pipa!!! hehehe. spent at least 4 hours yesterday practising. but can say its cos im guilty for neglecting it all these while lah. ooops =P

yay~! went hsinghai today! finally leh. after months. hahaha. 带着琵琶走出家门的感觉真爽...

but went there le realised they not playing songs with pipa. too bad didnt see xueqi's tag on time. hahaha. but never mind lah. its good to be going back to hsinghai. hahaha.

wow first half played 孔雀东南飞, no pipa. sat there and rot. hahaha. still thinking should go play ruan or not. scared i cant prac in time cos have pipa for 红梅随想 too, very difficult. played for the first time today struggle like hell! haix. and given the current condition of my fingers... =/ why got so many kuai ban de!!!! hahaha. but heng they prac 红梅 too, if not go there really rot away the whole day. haha. but the songs are nice lah. i like! lol.

oh yah, heard from xue hong that li xia was admitted into sgh and needs to be under observation for around 2 days. hope she gets well real soon. :)

yay going out tmr!!! haha if not really rot at home and called lazy again. ah whatever.

super pissed with something but i'll just forget it...

on a happier note, went to jurong sec's co and choir combined concert with suyang yesterday! whee~ was ok i guess... not really very very good yet, but i should think they have improved (sy said so too)but i was quite impressed with their 管乐, especially 唢呐, cos their 音准 was quite good, 唢呐 being one of the instruments which 音准 is more difficult to control. solo items were quite good too, although i would prefer them played without the 乐队伴奏 (except the piano accompaniment for the cello item). made the songs a bit too noisy. the songs were not extremely cheem and difficult ones, but for me some of them made me recall my earlier days in co, while some others were songs i like.
1st item for the concert was a combined item, 红楼梦组曲. haha played that piece before. but yesterday's item was with the choir, which in my opinion, was a bit too overwhelming for an opening piece. haha.
was a bit disappointed with the 琵琶 ensemble item, 马车夫舞曲. somehow, i think the skill level not really there yet. or maybe its the song. quite repetitive with not much variation, quite tedious to listen to, really. no offence. i would also think the song is better suited for a simple solo rather than ensemble, which made it sound jumbled up, especially the fast parts. yup. ok, or maybe its just me.
next few items were the solo items lah. most of the soloists started learning since primary school (*jealous*) so i have nothing much to say.
later on was choir's performance. the songs were nice and entertaining, well-chosen. haha. but i was shocked that the choir only had 28 people. and it was an all-girl choir. haha.
the highlight of the concert was during the encore!!!! they played 早安老师, 高山青, 黄飞鸿. simple songs, yet engaging. :) they did a good job there in interacting with the audience. i laughed a lot until super high. hahaha =P and 黄老师 was very cute and funny also hahaha.
suddenly have this urge to watch a lot a lot of co concerts after the concert yesterday. argh so long did not practise le, i think my skills really all gone le lah how how. this sunday going hsinghai some more. scared leh later all the kuai ban again sure cannot de. :'( bleahx. i cant believe i almost lost all contact with co this whole pre-exam and exam period other than the occasion song i listen to. ewww... but yea, i promise i'll prac. hahaha. thanks jssco for helping me kickstart the momentum of wanting to prac again. reserving the whole of tmr to practise. i bet it will be painful... haha but its my fault. just pray that my fingers wont bleed =P

yo! finally, finally, finally, a levels ended le!!!!!!! lolx really find myself a bit lag sia. the geog people have been celebrating for the past 9 or so days le. hehehe. but i should be thankful i end on the 23rd and not some other later dates like other lit people taking paper 4 or 3 or 2 or something. hahahaha.

nevertheless, the past week was rather eventful. went out almost everyday except for thursday. heheheh went to cut my hair on monday. found it quite okay, at least my hair trim until neat and nice le, but my family say no difference leh. haix. (means still very messy? :( eeee... )

tuesday went foodfair. whee~ bought quite a lot of things then carry the bags until like auntie lah. omg, and i was wearing t-shirt, some 3/4 pants and slippers. even more like auntie. haiyah, old liao... kekekeke. nevermind, what was worse was after that, went tampines with py to shop, with all our da bao xiao bao of stuff!!! in the end deposited them at toys 'r us before going walk walk. ahahaha so bad rite? shhhh.... =P some more is not a while, is a few hours, and we even went to eat. heheheh. py bought this really nice white shoes from this store which staff's quite friendly, unlike another small shop selling accessories. the owner (i think) was sooooo not nice lah! i was damn pissed seriously. kept insisting that her product was good and not ex at all. if i wanted to buy something earlier, i would just walk out of the shop straight away liao lor. haix cmi man, wanna be in retail industry then dont give attitude lah.... -.- we were lucky that when we finally went back to toys 'r us to collect our stuff, they have already changed shift le if not dont know what the person will say.

wednesday went vivo with ch, yq and cat. super long didnt see them le leh. really nice to meet up with them and catch up. too bad ps didnt come cos she could only make it later but we needed to go home liao... went asian kitchen to eat then wanted go back rvco de but the juniors break camp le, and they didnt wanna come vivo. awww... so in the end, we just hang around vivo to look see then sat down near the donut shop to slack and reminisce about the good old days. hahaha. went walk around some more before going home. hay, when will our movie marathon be arh? lolx

thursday was slack day. errr not really cos i was studying lit. but i guess the process was far more enjoyable, firstly cos i was already in holiday mood (is this suposed to be good or bad? =P), and secondly, lit does not need as much memorisation as chinese lang and lit or econs. yesterday was a friday, which marked the coming of the weekend as well as the end of the exams!!! sooo wanted to scream after that but so not fun with so few people taking lit in the small classroom. would be so much better if it was in the hall with a lot of people screaming together. guess i like the feeling of screaming in unison. lolx im nuts. anw, yah, wanted to go home after lit paper, but had this weird sudden urge to go to the library. like a bit ironic eh? wanted to borrow 8 books cos they upped the quota, but i thought i shouldnt borrow so many at a go in case i cant finish reading them. whats more, i already had 3 books in my bag. remember it was a lit paper i took? hahaha

went out shopping at vivo (yes, again) this morning. shallnt mention about that stupid mrt experience. lol. anw, didnt really see anything much so moved on to suntec. and i realised that the stuffed toys in the machines at the arcades (dont know the name for it. catch machines? the ones you control this claw like thing to grab a stuffed toy?) were strategically placed in order not to let you catch thim so easily. saw this person who moved the toy away in the process, then this man just came up to unlock the machine and put the toy back in place. -.-

went for wei lian's autograph session at the fountain of wealth at around 4. yays! bought the gai ban cd which includes the 4 new (okay, old in the sense they are oldies) songs, which comes with a free poster. :) wei lian's live performance back to normal too (steady steady wor~), and i got both my cds autographed. yay~! happy happy! :) in case you want to look at the photos, click here. went home super tired. okay my feet are tired. hahaha.

now that the holidays are here, i have far too many things i want to do but dont think i have enough time eh... ahhh. and i cant go hsinghai tomorrow cos gonna celebrate my grandma's birthday. oh well, guess i can only go next week...

i dont feel really good about all the past papers. urgh... scared leh. left with last paper, which is h2 lit paper, on next friday. -.- so long rite? im so bored staying at home le. eee.

oh yay, exams not over yet, but my schedule's already packed. lalala~ happy. will have lots of things to do man. go cut hair, go foodfair, rv pipa gathering, visit sec school, weilian's autograph session, watch co concert, hsinghai prac and concert (need to practise at home le, think all my limited skills throw into the drain liao) etc etc. whee~ so glad that exams are gonna be over and life's gonna be back to usual. except no need to go school. yay! and i've got lots of things i wanna do lor, like read read and read, learn to cook, bake, go on photography tour around singapore, do some handicrafts, try my hand at song composition, pick up another instrument(dont know, but i somehow have strum and sing guitar in mind now. haha) and i wanna find a job! anyone got lobang or not? =P oh yeah, and im soooo gonna play my maple story and second life (and all the MMORPGs i miss so much as well). hehehehe. =P

but for now, i shall continue to worry about my last paper although im starting to go into holiday mood le. ooops. so yea, bye for now and i'll blog when exams are over! :)

whee~ realised i havent blogged in a while. hehe but sian leh, no inspiration to blog. =P

lalala its raining! and almost for the whole day today. HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY. cos i cant stand hot hot weather. but i wanna go out play in the rain. lolx. hmm. but its super windy!!! good weather for sleeping. (oops!) lolx so i'll go sleep! good nite everyone!

haha just joking. feel like going to the window and just stone there. cos it always refreshes me, esp when it super windy! haha. then shall go study a little more later, then watch 女婿当家 on channel 8. shhh dont tell anyone i watched tv arh. =P

okay. this is supposed to be study break le hor, but i still have to go back to school almost everyday for remedial leh. (oops im not supposed to say rite? =P) but too bad lah, who ask my results so bad. but actually i dont mind lah. quite enjoyable. hah.

ooo and right, wei lian's I Love You (now playing, if you can hear it that is) came out top in 93.3's 醉心龙虎榜 yesterday. 榜首leh! i really screamed when they announced the 2nd place which is jolin's 特务J. then can guess who is first liao! woo~! finally have top in 93.3 chat le! okay abit crazy...

ahhh and time really flies man! A level's starting in exactly one week's time. scared leh. haha. there's still so much to study! =S okay 不说了. i'll blog when i have the time. bleh. sorry for this lame post. haha

ahhh okay come update awhile. argh... actually i dont know what to write... bleahx.

prelims finally over le! havent get back all the results but im not optimistic about it at all. argh.. so scared sia. A levels is in one month's time!!! da jia chiong chiong chiong! so excited about school ending next week for study break. lalala~ heard some schools are starting their study break after end of this week already. cant stand the current timetable le, though end at 12.30pm for most days. so sian can? rather stay at home to mug - can wake up later, but study more. going to school's wasting my time these days. like, lessons so far not very useful except going through prelim papers. then, for example today, mr lim was on mc, so i had to wait 2.5 hours for the first lesson which was gp. grrr. in the end bo bian, was doing boring boring econs for the whole of that time cos i didnt bring chinese to study. like wth.

went to celebrate suyang's birtday(belated) last thursday at imm. ate at pepper lunch. found it okay, unlike most comments i heard about it being expensive or not nice. okay was a bit expensive, but the serving was quite huge. haha. and the green tea ice cream was nice! gonna try the salad one day. :) yup bought this super super cute and huggable bear for suyang, and it was white. checked with the staff of the shop le, and she said this was the last one they had. no stock liao. lolx if not i could have bought one for myself lor.

yipee. went to imm (again) yesterday with peiying, serene, hiong poh and benjamin to celebrate the two september babies (ser and hp) de birthday. looks like imm is the new "in" place for birthdays. keke. whee~ was quite nice hanging out with them guys. haha. and realised havent seen hp and ben for quite awhile le. went to eat at this hk cafe (forgot name) outside pepper lunch. food was quite nice. especially loved the cheesy pasta. =P and here are the drinks:

whee~! so colourful. colours rock my world. haha. like the pinkish drink (2nd from left) which i cant remember its name, but there was "dracula" in it. lolx but the colour and taste too sweet to be a dracula lah. hehe. slightly alcoholic but had a really really sweet taste. i think someone almost got drunk lor. >.< hahah ="p

something just as random. was sent this weird sms by someone, with like half the msg in malay. didnt really understand plus i guess it was some sms sent to the wrong number (sender included his name and i dont know him), so i just ignore. BUT the person called in the middle of the night at exactly 1am, just after i fell asleep. omg so creepy. and he called twice. being evil, or rather, deciding to be evil, i hung up on the call for both times. well, i said if the person was to call again, i might have shouted "STOP CALLING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT AND DISTURBING ME FROM MY SLEEP!!!" right into the phone. thankfully, he didnt and i could sleep properly. hehehe. but but but he called again at exactly 10.30am today while i was going for gp lesson and still, i chose to ignore it. sent an sms back to say that he got the wrong number and he replied that he thought i was someone else. like wth, i dont have a malay name lah! so i guess he was actually innocent and it was a case of someone giving false or wrong information, so yea, what i want to say is, please check that if you given someone your number, GIVE THE CORRECT NUMBER! if you dont want to then just state you dont have a phone or crap out some excuse lah! -.-

as i said, school was torturous today. not literally, but we were discussing about the topic of "torture" (which was the topic for gp prelims paper) in gp class. sidetrack: [actually love gp cos it like the only subject which lesssons make my brain work and think, especially with a teacher like ms ng. :) maths is equally cool too (nah dont really like pure maths cos mostly based on formulas, quite dry, like not much meaning to it, but i like those cool olympiad questions or maybe stats cos they make my mind think real hard. haha.) sadly, thats not the case for econs or cll.] haha. then ms ng made an informal poll on whether torture is permissible at all. 100 percent of the class present (12 people) said that it shouldnt be allowed at all. LOL. LOL again. (note the use of capitalisation) we are nice people arent we? well, come to think of it, i think it should still be allowed in some extreme cases and not totally disallowed. sort of agreed with the writer. haha. =P okay okay, im the evil one. muahahaha. =P yea, i shall go now to re-write my torture aq, bye! :)

yay finally got wei lian's album. thanks mum who dropped by jp after work to help me buy. :) guessed many would have seen the advert on tv or saw posters all around the island. think warner spent quite a sum on promos for this album, even in taiwan, and in the near future, china. looked at the it and was actually a little disappointed (only a little!) with the fact that it was almost the same as the taiwan version except for extra two songs (and minus those that were in the first album), which are '犯错', a hip-hop style song featuring joi chua, as well as '念念不忘', one of the soundtracks for the movie '881'. here are some photos:

im bored from reading my lit text. =X sian... two more papers to go till the end of prelims. sometimes it isnt so good an idea to stretch the exam period cos there'll be lots of days in between where there are no papers. then instead of studying and studying, i tend to slack a bit then i'll start to think about lots of random stuff. not that its bad. lol i like to think alot, but somehow its quite unnecessary. =P ah nevermind if you dont know what im talking about. quite crap.

i remembered i had a dream last night but i just cant remember what it was about. think i have short term memory cos this keeps happening. hahaha.

sometimes i think about what its like to be deaf. lolx really. i think its quite an enjoyment to shut oneself away from the rest of the world and watch everything pass by. (gosh, does it sound like i have 自避症?) but then again, i cant live without music and beautiful sounds around me.

received this in my email inbox and quite tempted to go watch. there's a discount for students. but hey, its this weekend and exams' not over yet. i think it would be quite interesting to see the contemporary version for the butterfly lovers, or better known as '梁祝'to some people.

wah wah wah im back finally. can take a short break and 喘一下气, cos the next paper's on monday! which means i do not have to go to school for the next 3 days! whee~! lolx do i sound like its the end of a levels already? how i wish it is, but too bad, 2 more months and 5 days to go!

hehe. oh yeah, did i say i was so so SO looking forward to today cos its wei lian's singapore album release date? then when i went to check jp out after today's paper, i didnt manage to find anything. awww... think it will be like last year again. 1 day late. grrr... still packing the cds in their warehouse or stock taking bah... -.-" keke. cant wait to listen to the new songs! even more excited for the songs to show up in kbox, then end of the year can sing till siao. hahah. hmm if you like the song which is currently playing, you should buy the album! and try to catch its mv too. i was moved to tears. =P

yup past few papers were killers! okay, almost all? even mathematics! argh. sian. and yesterday's lit paper was super scary. not that it was extremely extremely hard till i cant understand a thing lah but it left me with a headache which thankfully, i recovered from this morning with sleep and two panadol pills. yuck. just dont like to take medicine. isnt medicine like, poisonous? ewww. haha =p

oh well, mum made a huge pot of soup for us to drink and says it helps to 提神, 补脑力. but, yeah, it was sooo sweet and nice. hehehe. here it is:

hi all! here to blog again... (shhh... having econs essay paper tomorrow =X) will make it a quick one.

past one week was so called "september holidays" but guess for most people september holidays is no september holidays, unless they are like in lower sec or primary school. lol.

i wasnt really mugging though. cant bring myself to really do it. argh... so useless rite. everyday slacked like pig - watch tv, use computer, sleep, eat, sleep... oh well. studied a little but somehow cant seem to get stuff into my brain. argh... what was worse, i went cc to study on tuesday and i think the study room was filled with flu virus or something. did not feel cold at all but kept sneezing and blowing my nose. would have disrupted the peace rite? no, the others in the room were like that too. people would think the study room was a clinic! hahaha. so scary, my nose wouldnt stop running even after i got home. developed a sore throat soon after. bleahx.

saturday was really slack day, went out with family to ikea, then suntec for food fair and carrefour. hahah. ate alot... so full lah! whee~ and saw these cute stuffed toys in carrefour. think they were of the 12 animals in the chinese zodiac but only managed to see these. note that there's a dragon. like so rare rite? sooo wanted to buy the dragon but didnt buy in the end. :

start of prelims today. gp paper was rather hard i can say. like much more difficult than mid year. eeek. didnt really finished my aq. think it was kinda unbalanced. :( and for essay my favourite arts question didnt come out. grrr. so my next favourite-technolgy. sadly, i ended my essay hastily, so i think the conclusion's like bad? nah, cant hope for at least my B le.

passed by the news stand near jp and saw wei lian on the cover page:so nice and bright. quickly grab. hehehe. yay yay 2nd time on i-weekly cover page already! actually already knew he's gonna be on cover page from other fans le so kept a lookout lor. really have leh. hahaha. happy happy. woo heard alot albums coming out soon (wei lian, joi, FIR) must keep a lookout also... =P

heyah! back to blog before i really start my intensive mugging. planning to go down to the community club to mug for the next few days, anyone wanna join me? haha. gosh cant believe it. prelims is only one week away. think i wont be online much in the coming weeks/2+ months up till end of the A levels. even if i am, i dont think i'll be blogging a lot cos it takes up far too much of my time. hehe some highlights for the past week...

monday(27/08): just something funny... grace and i bought some snacks during break. was eating this picco thingy which actually tastes quite nice. choc buscuit sticks with strawberry filling. then grace got high and she said its because of the strawberry in it. lolx and see that oatmeal buscuits behind the box of picco? we attempted to split it in half among us to bring home, so we literally cut the box in two. =P the half-box came in handy as a pen holder and i was saying that someone should invent something like that for students. ahahaha... snack and pen holder-very useful for lessons. ;)

tuesday(28/08): suyang, yini, mica and i went baking at suyang's place. wast quite a last minute decision to bake cookies for the teachers for teachers day(again). yea, this time, we were smarter to use the mix type instead of starting from scratch. it was supposed to take lesser time cos on the packet it says that we only need 20 minutes to make one batch of cookies. nah, dont ever believe what the packet says. we started at around 5pm and ended everything at around 10.30pm, including packaging. actually, maybe it really just requires 20 minutes, but due to our lack of experience, and the need to back them in tiny tiny batches(small oven! what'cha expect, industrial oven?), we took quite long eh... but the process was quite fun. oh yeah, a piece of advice-when the instructions on the packet says 8-10 minutes, set the oven for at most 8 minutes. if after that its still undercooked then set the oven to bake further. and do watch your cookies as they bake. cos our first batch was badly burnt! boo~ :'( but yah, overall was quite successful lah... hehehe. and mdm liu's cookie was so beautifully wrapped by us. whee~!

wednesday(29/08): nothing much. was in my super oversized uniform for the talk on chinese poems. found it quite interesting but some people were just uninterested. shallnt elaborate but quite wasted that the speaker didnt get to share the rest of the stuff she prepared.

friday(31/08): woohoo~ last day of august. teachers day celebrations in school. was late as the usual bus i take was either early or didnt come at all. hmph. luckily they didnt take that into account. better late than never yah? sooo many people pon that day lor. mass dance was crap. the j1s were enthu and so engrossed in their dances but we j2s in front just stood and rot. haha.

concert was crap too. only 4 items!!! but i kinda liked the teachers' item. a cappella wor! and not to mention co's dedication video. so funny... lame lor. it was the only video without anyone showing his/her face, and the first one to receive applause from the audience. ahahaha. co rocks man!

after concert went jp for lunch first then went suyang's house to slack. actually the main motive was to give mdm liu(who lives in the block next to suyang's) her presents as she left halfway since she was not feeling well. so we delivered her presents right to her doorstep. so nice rite? hahaha. then actually suyang got the wrong storey and we went to the 13th instead of 15th. luckily the neighbour who answered the door was nice enough to tell us the correct address. =P

went home to bathe, then met mum at jp at 6pm for dinner, after which we went to watch "881"! got free tickets from mediacorp. heheheh. the movie was nice! cos got ah lian (wei lian lah)! =P and he sang half a hokkien song(very touching and got 'feel' wor ;) ) and led others in clapping to encourage the papaya sisters in one of the scenes. okay, it was nice not just because of wei lian only lah. overall was a great movie cos i think it was well produced and had a deep local flavour to it. royston tan rocks! he should have tried producing this type of films earlier instead of those cheemology types which not everyone knows about. hahaha and the actors in 881 were well recognised ones, like lin ru ping, liu ling ling etc, many of them are from the local getai scene, some of them even made it to local tv and now this movie. the papaya sisters' singing voices were those of 明珠姐妹, also very famous for thieir singing in getais. lol i tend to cry when watching movies (sheeh! actually i dont know why), but this one was quite extreme for me in the sense that it made me both laugh hard and cry real hard. some scenes were super super funny, especially when liu ling ling speaks. she practically stole the whole show! some on the other hand, we rather sad, especially those involving the papaya sisters. was crying at many parts, one which i remember is the part where 大木瓜said they will continue to sing with one another for the rest of their lives but 小木瓜, due to her illness just kept saying "我只要唱完今年". awww, 小木瓜died in the end. and when she sang the 莲花song just before she died- that was really sad. and can see her hair falling at each verse of the song representing the different stages of her chemoteraphy and her battle with her illness. we seldom have the main character dying for most movies eh? but you should watch the movie only when you have some background knowledge of getais (the singers, the 赶台part, 陈金浪and his life story etc), as well as know some hokkien to fully appreciate the movie. many youngsters went out of the movie theatre saying the show is meaningless and i think its the lack of background knowledge. please lor, how many youngsters actually still watch getais these days? and although there are subtitles, the many jokes wont be as funny anymore if you dont know hokkien. heh. this movie needs some analysis too(like how 小木瓜's life is meant to be similar to 陈金浪's, the song lyrics and their link to the whole story etc.) afterall, its still a royston tan production. still, its a great movie which is worth the money (okay, in my case, the trip down to mediacorp), and i will surely buy the vcd/dvd once it comes out.

aside from 881, 31/08 is also an important date! wei lian's 1st album release in taiwan! haha, at least important to wei lian and the blue angels lah hor. too bad i didnt buy lah. didnt have the chance to go down raffles city. lately very tight in cash also (haix shallnt mention much, just that im kinda tired from all the dealing with money but also thankful to my nice L01 classmates for their cooperation heheh.) hope the album is well received in taiwan lor, but think it is cos related websites quite hot sia! hahaha. and i previewed the songs, not bad really. wei lian's singing improved alot, without compromising on his famous 感动度. and heard his new image quite 帅 leh... lalala~ shall wait fot 18/09 when his album will be released in singapore!!!! so excited! hope its not delayed again, like his first album last year. then maybe if end of the year or early next year really going taiwan then go find his cd lor. taiwan must leave one copy for me hor! hehe.

okay, im here to blog! hahaha. quite lame. nothing much to blog actually.

had this a-level econs seminar at singapore poly convention centre this morning. supposed to reach at 8.30am. so early... -.- and when i woke up was super windy, still felt like sleeping. =P went jp to meet suyang and mica for breakfast at macs. after that went to sp lah. grace supposed to join us at clementi. she did hop onto the train, just couldnt find us cos it was too squeezy. haha so in the end met at dover, which is like one stop away. :)

reached later than 8.30am but it was okay cos 8.30am - 8.50am was for registration. got to saw kaili whom i havent seen for quite a long time le! :) actually didnt have to register and pay that $4 cos it seemed like we could enter rather freely. when the doors were opened, everyone just walked in. lolx. but oh well, it just $4 rite?

the seminar was alright, although i didnt fully understand it. think most people didnt too. the second segment on asian financial crisis was soooo -.-". i think the speaker didnt realise that our notes were printed in black and white while his slides were in colour! who would print coloured notes for us when we only paid four bucks which was inclusive of notes and food? haha. so lines on diagrams on the notes turned out either black or white (duh!), and white on white - that's transparent. and the lines on his slides were colour-coded. so basically, on our notes, we cant really differentiate the curves of china from taiwan; hong kong from singapore - you get the idea. everything just looked the same. the thing was, the speaker went so fast without pausing for us to label the curves according to his slides. grrr... he was ahead of the schedule anyway. the food at the tea reception looked quite nice(and there was sushi!) but i didnt have any cos was still quite full from the macs breakfast.

was planning to go home straight after the seminar but guess who i saw? xiuling! didnt see her for a long time too. so went for lunch with her and her friends lor. at jp again! lol, just nice all of us live in jurong or something. woo~! lolx. so yep after went home... haha

okay, now or some random things.

argh so many test on monday! heavily content based also. econs essay full paper, cll whole of cha guan's 1st act. im so gonna die. luckily mr lim agreed to let us hand in the lit assignment on friday instead. lit rocks lor. okay, mr lim rocks too! lol :)

suddenly miss co alot alot. missed hsinghai peeps... and the food at bugis. sundays now just feel different. lolx. and i really wanna go back rvco and jjco to see how the juniors are doing. =/ i wanna play my pipa! and jjco dont have pipa again. so sad rite. haha.

realised quite alot of things exist out of duality. lols this is really random. was suddenly thinking of this on the bus yesterday. you wouldnt know what is happiness if theres no sadness; or light when theres no darkness. things would be hard to define when the opposite dont exist. yeah.

okay this one is random too. thinking if i should order weilian's cd which would be realeased in taiwan. would be a combination of new songs and songs in his first album released here. they taking orders le but to order have to go down to raffles city on friday with $15 deposit. hmmm...

hihi. decided to come up and post something.

oh well, im gonna type as fast as i can. need to go nap then wake up to study. hahaha

last week was super slack cos only two days of lessons. wednesday was national day celebrations so went to school just to watch some concert which was more of like watching lots of videos and photographs. lol and i liked rono's video which used some uno stacko blocks and chinese chess pieces to tell the story of singapore's history. laughed so hard till my tears came out. hahaha. after that we got to eats lots of snacks belonging to the various racial groups (kueh, muruku, bandung, kacang putih, ding ding tang and candy floss!!!) not bad sia. hahah i think it was money well spent. at least much better than what we used to get last time in primary school and secondary school - stationery like folders, pens and the like which only added to our already large collection of them. hehe. at least food can fill my empty stomach =P

thursday was national day itself. went down to grandparents' house for dinner. woo~ mum made super nice otah to bring. after that watched parade on tv lor. seriously there is a great difference between watching it on tv and at the venue itself. the atmosphere's simply not there when you watch it on tv even when there is a lot of people watching with you, so really made me super bored. awww. so sad, didnt get to go this year. saw my sis in the choir haha. quite surprised that the ndp choir this year is made up of only rv chorale... soooo small lah! think the ndp orchestra's quite cool though. made up of different instrus of all the different races. haha, was seriously wondering if it is possible to set up one of these groups instead of just the normal orchestras we see. haha. the Singapore orchestra! cool lor, i think the combined effect was quite nice. should let it 发扬光大 instead of just using it specifically for this year's ndp. haha friday went meiji again! (^.^)V

hmmm... these few days weather is like ever changing. kept raining lah. actually, i like! hahaha. especially rainy staurday mornings for no particular reason. love windy nights too. nice to sleep but would rather go downstairs and 吹风. hehe like very shiok like that. dont know why just like that feeling. lalala~ but i dont like the warm parts. buay tahan leh... maybe too used to the school's air-conditioning le. =P this morning was nice. somehow the air quite fresh and cooling. woke up more 精神then usual despite sleeping at 1+am. hahaha

okay, shallnt type further le. going to take my nap. hahaha. =D

lalala~ im updating for the sake of updating. nothing much going on these days i guess. past week was quite boring and im sooo looking forward to next week's national day holiday. oh, suyang didnt come school for the whole week except monday cos she tio chicken pox. poor thing... get well soon okies? but i think staying home everyday is quite boring also.... heehee.

yup and i think im still not mugging enough. super kan cheong le... ewww. sian... still cant find a proper place where i can study in peace de. wanna go community club's study room study cos thats like quite the ideal place for me (super quiet and there's partitioned tables), but the need to walk there already makes me sian. haix. oh well, think i am an absolute slacker. =P
and there's like quite a few movies coming up i wanna watch --- 881 and 不能说的秘密!!! hahahah. but i think i'll most probably miss them lah. =(

yay caught 185 immediately after school when i reached the busstop today. the unlucky me missed one bus on moday and two yesterday due to various stupid reasons. haha if there is a pattern to this, i would have missed 3 buses today. but luckily, no lah!

today's econs lesson was terrible. i really cant stand econs le lah. everytime like that de. grrrr... i dont know whats all the sacarsm for seriously. it is so super obvious that theres something against us lah. wth. sometimes i just feel like walking out of the classroom. nevermind i am not those type of people who bear grudges so i wont say more. oh yea. but the class DID attend civics lesson yesterday. =)

saw this super tiny bird outside cr217 after lesson. it was really small and has no feathers (actually it has, just very little). poor thing. it kinda looked like its born premature cos it cant even see yet, and was really erm... bony? but some said it got into a fight and injured itself. hmmm dont know. maybe lor... but fight when it cant even see??? sibling rivalry huh? =p in the end, we brought it down and put it close to a tree... lol may go check back tomorrow, but im afraid to see it dead. =/ lol the funny thing is our class's always involved with... birds? haha. the previous time was during gp lesson and we found one IN the classroom. like what the... how did it get in? haha it was kinda funny to see ms ng trying to move it away with a broom. discovered in the end that it cant really fly cos it injured itself. brought it downstairs as well. -.-

oh yea, and lastly, on the way home, saw alot of dead animals. so freaky. dead cockroach, dead frog... and its weird cos they're all babies. really. those tiny onee. ewww... gives me the goosebumps just to think about it. what happened? is it just common and i didnt realise, mere coincidence or are the animals really dying?!?! argh... =p

this week:
i think the past week was quite enjoyable overall even though i was feeling quite tired after school everyday.
wednesday (17/07): had this career and education exhibition after school. hmmm had this personality profiling thingy which i think most people did before le. the MBTI thingy haha. did this several times le and keep getting the same results-INFP. i think quite rare cos i havent found any other INFPs whom i know. boo~ but i found a direct opposite-grace! haha. not bad not bad. but read up on the net and discovered that A. A. Milne (author of Winnie the Pooh), Helen Keller, William Shakespeare, Julia Roberts and Amy Tan are all INFPs!!! lalala~
the fair was quite crap though. sooo small, the booths also quite limited. in the end went see ntu's fass de and some social work thingy. lol

thursday (18/07): before going to school->rain. reached school->rain stopped. lessons->rained again. argh. quite irritating really.

friday (19/07): woohoo~ lessons so so lor. mr ho was in good mood during econs lah still can joke joke a bit. didnt stay back in school for gp lecture. went home to get ready for king lear!!!
had dinner at marina square's cavana. after that had some time so went around window shopping then headed for esplanade theatre.

the play was splendid! its by royal shakespeare company. payed 60 bucks cash, not edusave (cos only $1.99 left in there. wth) to watch it so it'd better be nice. ha. could say it was up to expectations (even though im not a regular theatre-goer =P) the characters were well portrayed, i think especially for lear (played by Ian McKellen, the actor who acted in movies like x men, lotr and the da vinci code. i actually recognised him from the da vinci code rather than lotr which most people would) and lear's fool (played by Sylvester McCoy) which i think practiacally stole the limelight in the scenes which he appeared in. the fool was super cute and hilarious! quite sad when he was hanged. right before the interval. lol. actually most of the cast and even backstage crew had lots of experience including many films and tv shows.

actually was more fascinated with all the stage effects rather than the play itself cos i already read the book before so most parts i knew what they were going to say or at least whats gonna happen. but its really all the effects which are making the difference, like the lighting, props and all that... liked the storm part most, with the flashes of light (lightning), and thunder sounds, and the lighting onstage actually made it looked af if its raining lah. and during the "storm" i felt colder. dont know whether they really turned down the temperature or was it just psychological. hee i think its the latter lah. was really intriguing and inspired me to take up technical theatre again in the future. dont know lah. or is it me who is sua ku cos i never really watched a real real play before? only watched school productions. =/
the whole thing ended super late at 11.50pm. the esimated time was quite accurate cos they stated on the programme booklet that the play would last 3h 30min, with a 20min interval. woah~ heng managed to catch 502 which arrived at around 12.10am when the bus stop was almost empty. most people took cabs or NR buses back. quite shuang cos the bus service takes me from esplanade's doorstep right to my own doorstep. at that kinda time. well, not really, but can be considered direct bus cos can alight at the nearest bus stop from my home. whee~ happy happy. i just refused to take a cab even when my parents told me to if i cant get a bus. well taking a cab at that time's a waste of money lah. usually wont take 502 cos its express service so its expensive, but at that time, its relatively cheaper. sounds giam hor. =P but ya lor, dont like take taxi lah. got that lonely lonely feel. take bus better. and bus got tv mobile to keep me occupied. taxi so dark and nothing to do. =P i think the bus ride lasted around 1 hour? yupx. but going home at such a time also quite shuangx. no midday heat. haha. like to walk on the streetlamp-illuminated streets at night. =D

oh yay~! this weekend super free le. in fact weekends starting from this week i should be quite free le. actually theres hsinghai qing gong yan tmr but i dont think i'll go. rather stay at home to mug. heheh. =p

heyah! just back from school. hmmm, think i wont be blogging that often already. why? cos have to study! yep, even if nothing is said i think i m sorta banned from using the computer by my parents. cos when i tried using the computer just for the sake of uploading photos from my mobile to my photobucket account, [uploading still in progress, will update ya all when its ready ;) ] all they did was to ask me go study. argh like i didnt study at all lah. wth... at home like that nevermind, was nagged at by teacher as a class in school again. sian lah. study is automatic de mah no need keep nagging de lor. -.- now, i am sort of considering i should go study outside like at the library or community club. i need some time for myself to study quietly without people nagging behind my back. quite irritating and distracting really. bleahx.

new week again, lessons should be getting more intense. lots of revision coming up. yay. lolx :)oh, and the teachers are getting us to write and write and write. so cool can? like tried the timed thingy during econs tutorial yesterday. lolx actual exams i need to write about 2.5 pages in about 24 minutes? haha didnt manage that yesterday but i think i got about 2 pages! haha. quite good le lah considering its first attempt. thanks to the all years of taking literature. :) gp today also tried writing a timed essay. that was okay cos i still have time to think and plan some stuff to write. managed to complete on time but concluded in a haste. hehehe.

sunday was hsinghai concert. i think the audience quite small compared to the usual concerts i perform at. wasnt very good lah. ewww played a few things here and there. screwed 龙腾虎跃 cos i freaked out (actually didnt really freak out lah, i think the 紧张 feeling didnt appear at all. just that when i went on stage felt super blur. like my mind is in a blank... -.- weird feeling) omg, and theres this song forgot which. accidently 放炮 at the last part. think quite obvious. so malu lah. ewww....

overall ok bah. i dont know. the food was nice, the people were nice too lah. was with xiaowen and i said jokingly that all the hsinghai people are so nice that thay will open all the doors for us when we wanna go backstage the stairs to have our dinner from the counter area there. (needa pass through 3 or 4 doors) actually its just so coincidental that when we reached a door, someone going out from backstage would push the door open first. and its like alot of people going out, while we were going in. heheh (we were the ones walking in the opposite direction from the rest lah =P) but our hands were full so its a good thing haha. oh and i think the rest were having dinner outside, hile we were having ours at the stairs. act 可怜... haha. yup, and luckily my cut on the finger didnt give me much problems. and my fears of snapping the strings didnt happen. wanted to take photos but when i remembered after concert, i think michelle and xueqi went off le. in the end took one with xiaowen only. hmmm.

and the concert's finally over. dunno will have programmes for chu diao at the end of the year or not, but i can have a long long break from hsinghai (in fact, its co) le. will have all my weekends free le. gonna study. woohoo~ ;) time to let my pipa have a good break too!

somehow after the concert, i felt tired. not just physically tired for the day, but i donk know. somehow, i just felt tired from performing on stage le. dont know if its the co or what. maybe the stage is really not for me. or maybe i should go work bakstage or something. and i dont have the feel already, that everyone there is there because for their love for co. i donk know. 就是没有那种感觉... maybe its just me. but music takes on a whole new level of meaining if everyone plays from the heart. really. you can feel it when its there, but i think it has become quite distant for me already. suddenly miss those co days in secondary school. =/

kk, i shall go study an not crap le. lol ppl, do tell me if theres any way to blog from mobile or something cos i think it'll be quite a feat if i can get to the computer these days. ahaha. =p

hmmm i'll just post a quick one for the sake of updating. haha
had hsinghai extra practice yesterday and it was quite nice lah. nice. i didnt say good or constructive. lol actually i think standard wise was quite bad considering there was less than two days till concert. haha and daji kept screwing up their parts. like what the hell. and we ran through nao hua deng for last song. haha still think that song quite crazy but somehow i feel it is better than long teng. just dislike long teng. *shrugs* oh, and finally know of someone in hsinghai who stays in jurong west too and managed to get a lift home. i think if i took the train i would have reached home at around midnight? yupx.
had meet-the-parents session today and it was real crap. seriously. sometimes its interesting to listen to the adults speak. i know its rude but i just refused to answer most questions. hah. quite attitude eh? oh and during the mtp session with mr ho, i would say he's quite nice. heh. quite different from what i expected considering that my parents barged into the classroom without believing me about what he told us previously in class and that he didnt ask to see them, but... oh well. nvm, i shallnt elaborate further. some things said during the earlier session were just outrageous and totally unbelievable (to me, but i dont think thats the case to some people) till i wanted to laugh my head off. like how i chose lep cos i needed the two points to get into the school. wah thats so not right can? hello, i may not have done well in Os but not to the extent i am so desperate for that 2 points lah. please lor, i could have had 8 points deducted off my l1r5, just that they made the maximum 6 so bo bian. (so if i dont take lep into account, i still have 6 points for deduction) -.- haiyoh. to think i was so naive to have chosen lep (yea, thay claimed that it was iLEP) in the first place out of my love for languages and to maintain one of rv's values of being effectively bilingual, but too baad, this is just sooo not true. haix. the session just made me think after that. not ponder over what was being said, but well some things i just dont understand. like how someone u didnt expect to know you well knows you better than someone whom u expected. that boils down to the "you are the one who knows yourself best" theory. then about what mr lee was mentioning in class last week. "有谁找到了知己?" and really, its really difficult to find someone who knows u really well. then again, people who know you the best may also be your enimies cos they know your weaknesses. argh. like, i dont know. this is confusing. hahaha
ooo so suay lah, its just 1 day before the concert yet i cut my finger just now. quite painful leh. and my pipa's first fret dropped just now when i was practising. argh... what the... luckily it didnt drop out fully so i just super glued it back into place. sounds okay so i think nevermind. as for my finger i dont know how le. left index finger summore. =X its either i 忍 or i put plaster and hope it wont hurt when i play. bleahx
okie okie i'd better go sleep. hsinghai concert tomorrow and i dont wanna look like a zombie on stage. lolx =P bye!

actually like that feeling of coming home early. no one at home, then while walking home, just have that lazy afternoon kinda feel. quiet quiet like that de. quite 爽. would be a bonus if the weather's cooling. but too bad today was quite sunny despite the wind. hah.
yep, i knew it, my 《雨后的下午》作文 was out of point lah. argh... dont dare write 抒情文/记叙文 for tests or exams liao... at most write 爽 by myself. guess i'll play safe and stick to my 议论文/论说文 if possible. =P

woosh~! back to blog!
went causeway ytd with lisha and had a late lunch at jack's place. anw, people, do go for their lunch k? hahaha quite worth it, for students lah... it's around $7.60 inclusive of GST and service charge. includes drink, main, and 2 scoops of ice cream. hahaha. quite filling cos their serving was quite huge. after that went walk around to let the food digest. lolx. but didnt buy anth lah... =/

eh, fish/chicken and chips. haha. cos we exchanged food. =P

today only had e lit, c lit and econs. c lit test was... erm... okay i guess? *shrugs* abit the unsure here and there but considering i did not spend alot of time on it.... dont know lah, wait for the results. =P econs lesson was a headache as usual. haix. and i was like stranded at the extreme left at the back of the classroom. hahaha. weird place to sit. king lear ticket payment after school. woah~ a ticket costs 60 bucks! can you believe it?! haha. dont know can go how many co concerts liao lor... and 60 is already the subsidised rate. think it costs $82 or somewhere around there before subsidy. bleahx. AND AND AND, the queue was super long, and mr lim was taking a long long time to settle stuff with other groups in front of us who are making the payment. i think we waited for 20 minutes before our turn which is like super long cos it is possible to get the tickets over sistic or smth in less than 20 minutes? grrrr.
while we were making the payment, some of them threw us in school and went to watch harry potter at jp le lor... win liao lor... lolx joking. is i dont wanna go de. cos i dont like. or rather, i dont know the story well so no point watching. i think i only read like the first two books of the series a thousand years ago? =P hahaha. anw, dont really like harry potter's world lah. so many evil people... eew. haha. magical/ fairytale-like world should be more pleasant and bright? lolx nvm, its just my imagination and crappiness. ah. -.-
gonna be loan shark these few days le. the teachers are busy printing revision stuff for us so we have to keep ourselves as busy by paying. hah. so, i gonna extort 10 bucks from my fellow L1 classmates. bleahx. but it feels so sad that so much money is passing through your hands but dont belong to you. wahahaha. and i hate to ask for money... =(
lalala~ tmr will be SO fun. haha. 2 hours of chinese early in the morning. hah. but i realised timetable these days abit the slack. other than econs extra lessons and remedial, the average time we're released from school is around 2pm? yups.

woah super tired today. now just feel like closing my eyes to sleep. lolx. maybe its due to the pia-ing of the cca/cip hrc thingy for the past two nights. eww... and i dont like doing it. like bragging etc etc. so bhb can? ahahaha
hmmm. so for the past few days.
monday: youth day holiday. went raffles city with peiying, er ren, serene and jiajing to queue for donut factory donuts! wahaha. bought a dozen only... the rest bought more than me can... shared it with my family so finished all of them on the day itself. and they actually do taste nice and are super super fresh lah... so soft. woohoo, i think they will make alot of profit seh... cos afterall, donuts are made form dough only mah. of course, theres sugar and jam and choc etc. but yea... i think the cost still quite low. =) happy happy happy. =D
tuesday: hmm rather uneventful. lessons as per normal, with econs extra lesson after school. grrr... mr ho went through the answers for the econs mid year ct paper- case study only. hmmm... think managed to get the points mentioned but even so, without eleboration still wont score mah. woah, dont know when then can get the papers back.
wednesday: today was quite sian as well. had this talk after school for j2s stressing the importance to study for As... like i dont know like that. hmmm... dont know lah but some parts quite true lah. mr leow and mr ng talking in front of the whole j2 cohort presented to me flashbacks of the orientation days last year. seem just not too long ago, but come to think of it, its already 1.5 years back. time flies. they were the first teachers we were introduced to, and now they are giving us talks about A levels le. haix. time spent in jc is really short.
stayed back after the talk to complete my chinese composition. woo~ suddenly felt like doing 抒情文 today when i usually do 论说文 or 说明文. wahaha. but think i off topic lah. 雨后的下午 became 下雨的下午. lolx but i liked my rainbow part. ahahaha
hmmm. dont now what to type lah lah. go watch my channel 8 show le. bye!

whee~ i feel so naughty posting at this hour. i promise i will make this a short short one. =)
yay! changed blog skin le. finally! tired of the orange and black one (admit it, you are too... ;) heh ) so decided to change into something "lighter"? so yea. blue and stars! weehee my favourite!!! and this skin is soooo cool cos it matches with my hp's theme, star accessory and hp pouch. lolx. i am so happy now. lalala. lol i know nothing about html and all those geeky computer stuff. but i guess one can just get better with each changing of blogskin. altered some parts of the skin, or in fact quite alot of it to end up with this. so.... hope u guys like it! =)
so yea, 1 thing down. next thing to do is to organise my whole lot of photos. some other day perhaps. i've yet to complete my sgc which is due this week and i need my sleep! xP will update on some recent events soon! till then, see ya!

lol decided to continue in a new post if not will end up with one super big chunk of words again.
term 3 week 1 (25/06-1/07)
basically, school reopen le, and we're starting to get back our results and have lessons.
lessons wise i think quite slack leh dont know why. somehow i just have this feeling. and we are super slow? like most still have around 1 more topic to cover? except for e lit lah. cos dont needa go through much one. c lit seems like there's still one whole book (雪山飞狐) to cover. and this week we only touched on the author of the book? aww. 1st math lesson had nothing to do so just watch movie! or rather it seemed like a documentary. super-sized me. narrator is a man trying to prove that its really harmful to eat macs. so he went on a full-macs diet for one whole month. and their super sized proportions seemed really really huge. thankfully we dont have that in singapore. i think will freak alot of people out lah. or maybe 1 meal can share between 2 or 3 persons? lolx too bad the lesson ended before the show finished. didnt manage to see how the person looked like after he gained weight. haha.
got back some results. not happy with them at all, or rather, i think quite terrible. haix. dont know lah. somehow there's this feeling that i want to give up le but i know i cant. arghh... strugglingstrugglingstrugling.... yea man, i can see the forest but i am lost. LOST. cant find the way out. supposedly stronger subjects worsen, already bad subjects also like no improvement at all. what the hell happened i also dont know! it was a big big mistake man, to sacrifice most of the time on revising stronger subjects to revise my weaker subjects. BIG MISTAKE. i really dont know. i feel like crying already, but only received comments like "better study hard hor, dont come and complain that study until headache or whatever" what the. make me even more worried. and i refer to what my sec sch hist teacher said to me 3 years back-that i do badly because i always remember my past failures and dwell on them. last time i dont know. but ths time i dont think so. its like i so used to scoring badly liao, until i am numb le. ='( 一点感觉也没有... how to dwell on it? and someone still dare to keep suan-ing me say i never study... i have can! and i think i study more than you did lah! grrr... gek me... hello, i spent most of the holidays burrying myself in the books and notes lah. suffocation. its because i stupid lah. cannot arh.
these few days, after mid year ct, i find studying or doing my work a form of escapism. serious. maybe its my guilty conscience for not doing well, maybe its... i dont know. just that when i am feeling unhappy, i just lock myself in my room (okay lah never lock, only close the door) and do homework or mug. at least i can forget everything and calm myself down when my head is filled with information. hmmm. will become 自避 or not? gosh.
on a happier note, i downloaded the 2007 national day songs, lyrics and videos le!!! yay! lol some people say the songs are forms of propaganda lah but i choose to dismiss that view cos i like the songs leh. dont know, the songs always sound nice to me. kind of like their melodies. never fail to touch me. lyrics also lah, at least quite meaningful (nor propaganda!). ya what, afterall, home is where the heart is. you cant really say the lyrics are false or what mah. and they are definitely more meaningful than many pop songs these days. =/ this year, there're 2 songs. One of them's "There's No Place I'd Rather Be" sang by Kit Chan. woohoo~ one of the better candidates for NDP songs. lolx. quite happy that this year, its finally her turn to sing le. her previous one was "Home" back in 1998 and 2004. or should i be sad that there' s no new singaporean singer they could push up to sing the NDP song? hah. the 2nd song's "Will You" by a couple of singers- Janani Sridhar, Asha Edmund, Emma Yong, Lily Ann Rahmat, JaiWahab, Shabir Mohammed, Sebastian Tan, Gani Karim. this song's more energetic. though the mv quite -.-" throughout the whole thing can only see each singer leading a whole group of people towards one common place, which is the NDP place at marina this year. there's this opera singer, so some parts in the background you get to hear really high notes. woosh! shuang lor. both songs are composed by jimmy ye. wahaha. if you are interested can go http://www.ndp.org.sg/home.html to take a look and download the songs. too bad cant go watch this year. the year before managed to get the actual day tix, last year my 小姑 gave me tix to the preview. so maybe this time round the chance should rightfully got to others le. =) but i think this year's will be super special lah. cos the stage's on water!!! lolx. nvm watch on tv lor. *boo*

HEYAHH!!! havent posted in a loooonnngggg time le... =P think my blog's almost dead.

exam week(18/06-24/06)
went school on monday, tuesday and thursday for papers. argh.. the geog people ended earlier than us on thurs. bleahx...
friday went kbox! yays!!! this time round went je instead of cine. super cold inside as expected but i still forgot to bring my sweater. then aft k-ing had dinner at the orange-coloured korean food shop. lolx. we were sitting beside the glass panels facing outside jec, then while we were eating halfway, we saw flashes of light outside. i was still thinking there was some dance event or something. like what the.... then just ignored it and continued. later realised alot of people were outside... snapping away with their phone cameras. then when someone opened the door, heard lots of loud booming sounds. wahaha. the three of us immediately grabbed our bags and ran out. yea, you guessed it-fireworks! and when we managed to see it for only a little while, cos when i remembered to take out my phone to take photos, the fireworks stopped already. wasted. haha. yup, was the arts fest closing thingy at the grass patch beside jec. hmm we were "shouldnt have ignored it and kept quiet!" arghhh...
saturday had jjco j2s farewell. hmmm farewell with more j1s than j2s. lolx. j2s-only peiying, rudy, zenjian and i. sadx... had to go school first and i thought i was late by almost 30 minutes already but when i reached, there were still very few people! lalala got so bored i ended up folding hearts and stars with their straws. and i was tempted to burst the balloons. wahaha. me super bad senior rite. *yea, im evil. muahahaha* than later when everyone who's supposed to reach reached, we set off. and yep, despite the already small number of people, we were further divided into 3 groups. peiying and zhenjian's in my group. 1st stop-je. had to go popular to find prices of books in a list given by amy. while the other groups were busy finding, we gave the list to a staff member and asked her help us find while we slacked around. wahaha. then that amy kept saying we were slacking. in the end we were the first to complete lor.... =P
2nd stop-suntec city. so big how to find one person lor... walked around the whole place still didnt see anyone in jjco tee. then cheryl called. she said she was in a place with alot of children de. so guessed was some event thingy. then we heard some booming sounds (again) and decided to go see. in the end just saw a mini water fountain thingy. haha and ended up taking photos and video. after which then we slowly strolled on, until we saw cheryl and amy. lolx. was this maplestory anniversary event at the atrium there. -.-" then we were forced to drink a whole huge bottle of mineral water using the joint thin straws (the type i was folding the hearts and stars with earlier on). wahaha managed to convince them let us drink straight from bottle. so split among 3 quite okay lor. lalala~
next station was raffles, and we thought was the sir stamford raffles statue. so we decided to just walk there. reached the black statue outside victorial theatre and concert hall but didnt see anyone so walked on to the white one beside the river. in the end no sight of them also. then i whipped out my phone to snap photos again. i always love taking photos there-i think few people know, but its one of my wishes to spend a whole day around singapore river taking photos. =P spent quite a long while there then they called to tell us we were at the wrong place le. walked to raffles mrt again at our own sweet pace. and the rest were alreading waiting for us there le. oops... okay lah. maybe we are really the slacker group. and we were mentioning conducting a tour where the 3 of us can be tourguides. anyone wanna join our tours? lolx. yea, and we said most prob will end up only having the 3 of us in the tour group. haha
went tiong bahru plaza for porridge buffet and steamboat. woohoo. the tom yum was super shiok! and the sweet juniors bought a cake for us. yipee. =) yes, and even though not alot of people turned up, can see the j1s put in a lot of effort in planning and organing the whole event. thanks lots!
sunday had hsinghai prac. woohoo~ and it has been a long time since i played alone. argh. suddenly no pipa at all. and worse, i never prac and got the new scores on that day itself. in the end all sight read. heng, shen laoshi went through the easier songs. tsk. maybe it my 报应 for not going for the last 2 weeks lah. lolx
after that they said have anniversary celebration, so have mini ensemble. then last minute needa go perform again. argh... chinese new year that time also like that. sight read again! but at least before the real thing ran through the songs like twice. at least know how they sound like. bleahx. heng heng was easy again. 2nd song, the 天山 something something song abit the fast but still can catch lah. but the 扫 part abit the messy i think. =P
after that had buffet dinner. the food was nice. then the CHOCOLATE cake was nice too! yum yum! (actually the jjco farewell also had choc cake. wahaha) then had games all that. quite interesting eh... games is like 灯谜 like that. must guess 成语 and 俗语 from their definitions. woah... got educational value and 深度 wor. lolx. =) was quite late when i got home already but was quite fun lah. =)

yes, i am here to blog. at this hour. and much earlier than expected. lolx and 5 more posts to go to reach my 100th post. -.-" but actually quite slow lah cos i took like a thousand years to post the existing 95 posts. haha. oh yah, quite a few people are complaining that my posts are too long. but too bad, i am NOT gonna shorten my posts. lalala~ =P too long then dont read lor... bo bian, im posting on a weekly basis. =P
okie so here goes:
basically this week nothing much cos its study week. wahahaha
monday, wednesday, thursday, saturday: stayed home to study lo. although not very productive i can say.
tuesday: went the macs of the community centre near school to study with peiying. whee~ from 10.30am till 8+pm? yea... quite long haha. went home just in time to catch my 爱.特别的你 on channel 8. haha did i mention that i prefer local dramas? i dont know why also but yah, and nowadays, thats the only show i watch. haha
friday: went meiji factory with mum! and bought $70+ worth of meiji products. lol a bit crazy... but... yay! i've got lots of stuff to eat le! omg, am i starting to sound like a pig? haha =P
other than that the day was spent rather uneventfully with my textbooks and notes.
today, or rather yesterday: also spent with my chinese lit textbooks. aww... getting super bored. whats more my family went to jp, leaving me at home. oh well, actually it was me who wanted to stay at home to stare at my books. hah.
today (sunday): not going hsinghai again. intended to study but my relatives organised a gathering at my grandparents'. so qiao. and directly before my exams. sheesh... hmmm. i dont know. of course must go, but i dont think i can concentrate there. oh well... just pray that i can study there. at least a teeny weeny bit. haix
okies from the past few days i got to realise a few things.
1) actually, studying is not really difficult. when you find the momentum and keep at it, find yourself a conducive environment, and tah-dah! lolx however, the difficult thing is to retain all the information. especially with subjects like chinese lit. some people say that c lit is easy cos all you have to do is memorise. yah right, memorising is easy like hell. NOT. i cant memorise so many books full of chinese words!!! grrr thats frustrating. bleahx. i've got a small brain. =X
2) i cant stick to my planned timetable as expected. seriously, i expected that. and i think I CANT FINISH STUDYING EVERYTHING! how how how!?!?!?
3) my motivation to study-doodling. haha.
4) i love my bedroom window! lolx its true. cos the view out of the window from my desk is beautiful. and i can see the sunset from here. and that day i saw the singapore flag flying outside my bedroom window! i think it was some practising for national day so the helicopters and the flag flew past outside. twice. =D the its much nearer then what we usually see at the ndp. =D

1) change blogskin: i am considering a change of blogskin le. cos i starting to get tired of this current one which i have been using for super long. haha. okies, im sooo gonna do that after mid-years. =)
2) organise all my photos. yups think i need to reorganise all my photos online. preferably in one, or at most, two photo-hosting accounts. haha keeping things organised=trait of a capricorn? but oh well, i dont think this is true lah. cos i prefer to keep some things neat while the other side of me is super messy. take my desk and notes for example. wahaha. back to the photos... now i've got a thousand accounts for storing photos and its actually bothering me. haha. argh cant stand all my photos being all over the place. and the china photos from last december's trip are giving me a headache-774mb. but still cant find and ideal free account. most of them either have little storage space or they load very slowly. bleahx...

wah... realised that i havent been posting for ten days... so on the past week...
wednesday(06/06): had econs workshop (what mr. ho prefers to call it) from 9am to 5.30pm. with a 1 hr lunch break, a 30 minutes morning tea break and a 15 minutes break. hmmm so that's 6 hours and 45 minutes of econs in one day, which is like super taxing. and really, i realised that i get headaches during or after econs lessons. bleahx. =/
thursday(07/06): had lit consultation in the morning from 10.30 o 11.30. quite pei4 fu2 that mr. lim took only one point from each of the 3 of us (grace, melvin and i) and drew out more points from them by comparing the similarities and differences in the given topic i.e. duty and passion, and managed to talk about them for the whole hour. yupz... quite pro eh...
after that went jp to walk walk a while and get some stuff before meeting suyang to go cine de kbox. woohoo~ havent been to kbox in ages. k lah. last time i think was last term, to celebrate jiaxin's birthday. so lately the trend is like once a term? =( haha. so headed to town and continued shopping at heeren which we did not finished shopping at the last time. -.-" partly was because its still early lah. the kbox session we planning to go to starts at 2pm mah...
went over to cine when it was about time... yipee~ kbox member got discount from $12+++ to $10+++ per head. but in the end turned out to be around $16 each lah... then thay gave us till 6pm but by then they didnt chase us out so we continued to sing till around 7.45pm and went for dinner after that. towards the end think i sang until almost no voice so ended up like singing lower pitch songs and with all the jia3 yin1. lolx. realised i didnt get to sing ALL the songs i usualy sing leh. haha my gao1 yin1 songs... dont know why that day some high high parts biao1 bu4 shang4! haha. =P after k-ing went all over town looking for somewhere to have dinner. really walked all over the place hehe... in the end went to the jap food shop we ate at before last time. haha... wasted so much time and dinner came at around 9.20pm? late rite? and suyang didnt manage to go back to heeren to buy the blue star crystal necklace... awww... and i have to agree it was nice... cos its blue and its a star!!! haha... my faves. lol
friday (08/06): nothing much. wasted a lot of time in the morning cos econs lesson (yes, its econs again) starts at 2pm and i woke up late. as usual, econs gives me the headache... haha... but at least its only 3 hours although mr. ho exceeded by a little while. oh, and we watched the video of the talkingcock in parliament thingy. though watched befor le but its still funny lah. hehe.
saturday (09/06): went back jjco slightly before noon. too bad not many people were there. so sad rite, its supposed to be j2s farewell but peiying an i were the only j2s there (at least for the vivo part lah) yes yes, we went to vivo and walked all over the place again. haha. oh yeah and i really think that vivo's body shop the fragrance too strong liao... my sensitive nose cant take it sia... the "strength" of the smell varies from the different shops around the island leh. vivo's super strong really. haa... and while cheryl and i were waiting outside body shop, there were a few people who approached us for donations and the first thing they said was "do you want to build a house" then i was like -.-" anw, we declined politely lah. lolx... ok, i'd rather build a house with my own two hands can? chu1 li4 is better than chu1 qian2. =P seriously, i think the best way to help disadvantaged people is to lend a helping hand, and i mean really using your own hands like volunteering somewhere or just doing some simple acts of helping those who need help, donating clothes, foodstuff etc. depending on who you are helping. not that i am a volunteer or that i dont donate money at times, but i think donating money is kinda irresponsible, because there are people who donate and think that "yes, i've done my part in volunteering to help the disadvantaged" and then find satisfaction in it, but in actual fact they are leaving all the hard work to others. that isnt the spirit of volunteerism, is it? oh but nowadays, i dont know why but even people asking for donations (okay, i think is the charity organistion) ask for a certain amount of money to be donated. hello, i think its quite bad to ask people willing to give money for a certain amount eh? just let them give what they are willing and able to give lah... i am sure like that will get much more donations. and yeah, the minimum amounts have been increasing all these years. oh, and from all these charity donation drives, we dont even know how much of our donations go to the organisation itself. the rest may be just split among event organisers/planners, costs incurred in organising, some other parties etc etc. sooo hmm, it is more worth it to give money to those buskers out there? at least i know that all my donation will go to them... hmmm. last stop was marks and spencer and we spent quite some time at the ood section haha... all the chocs, and sweets, and chips and soups... hahha... in the end bought a pack of roast chicken and herb-flavoured chips. lol... was not bad lah.. a bit salty but quite nice, can taste the herb. and the packet claimed that no artificial flavouring was used. =)
went home while the rest went for steamboat at marina. boo~ too bad i cant go!!! went home, then went downstairs de sakura to eat again to celebrate dad's birthday. yays~! woosh eat until i super bloated. lol and discovered their coffee also quite nice considering it came out of a coffee machine. lolx.
today: didnt go hsinghai. haix. wondering how's prac... think have new songs to play. yayayay! lolx. but hope not the fast fast types again. =/ okie so in the morning went to make specs. haha around 2 years never change le... lalala originally chose one nice nice de then in the end they say my degree too high the lens will be thick then not advisable to use tht frame.. boo. in the end chose something similar lah... black frame with some * pattern de deco at the side. ooo so excited... but i think will get it only around thursday. so diaox lah... right eye increased quite alot but left very very slight. so in the end the difference between the to eyes is like 200 degrees? ya lor.... hmmm... right 750, left 550. alot hor? okay, i am half blind. hahah... after came back to try study... but slack slack awhile then decided its too warm so turn on aircon (waste electricity) in my room and tried studying. in the end ended up drawing up next week's study timetable. then planned to study half of my econs syllable by today but halfway through it started to doodle... argh (attention span too short cant concentrate le!!! ) then alternated between the two "tasks". argh whatever... the whole family watching tv but i can see whats so interesting on tv on a sunday night so continued study-doodling in my bedroom then here i am! still with half of what i am supposed to study untouched. argh someone motivate me... hah.
my study timetable's fully packed for everyday (dont know how much of it i will follow) but can expect that i wont be coming online often for the next two weeks until mid year exams' over. but actually after that, school's reopening le so actually i dont even know when i will be able to come online "properly" and to blog haha... so maybe for the time being will be stagnant =P hmmm... okie i guess nothing much to write le. bye! =)

nothing much to blog about even though it the holidays. the first few days of the holidays past rather quickly... monday went town with grace and mica. lol i window shopped only. dont have alot of money with me mah... then nothing much to buy also. but the GSS is here so people, go out and shop! lol ok, im contradicting myself. =P
tuesday went parc oasis clubhouse to study with serene, peiying and fregen. haha not bad havent been there in more than a year le... lolx abit the sian... was a little late cos i overslept. cant help it, its the holidays!!! =P haha... tried studying c lit, but i realised i didnt bring notes so cant really study fully... especially the corrected parts. grrr... then went on to king lear... haha so read only lor.. cos i havent really completed reading. bleahx... wasnt very constructive leh... then after lunch we were all getting super sleepy so after awhile decided to go.. haha. went imm with py... then after that went home lor... ahhh... maybe one of these days i should go commuity centre to study alone like in the o level days... haha... think the environment more suitable for me... =P
yesterday was ijco had performance at their school's band concert so went help out. omg, haha practising that time was abit the messy but i think the actual thing was alot better even though cannon in D the speed kept changing! so the 5345 part where we were supposed to be playing melody became like super fast. lolx. yep. still okay lah. and we had pizza for dinner! yays! the rest were like okay, considering its only my second time playing. haha.

wednesday(23/05): yea man, ran off straight after econs lesson to meet yiqi at woodlands to go ij to help out at their co. heheh not bad lah. i think their co is ok leh even though they didnt join syf. luckily the songs were not too difficult. mostly can sight read. haha and we are playing canon in D! lolx actually quite like it there. dunno just have that familiar gan3 jue2. hmmm...
thurs(24/05): ok i am wu liao... but i think i was hyper that day(grace said so... ) after having coffee... lolx but its one of the days in school which i enjoyed. havent enjoyed school in a long time.. haix~
fri(25/05): yea that day was quite eventful. felt quite sian diao in the morning... lolx. think there was a change during econs lesson leh. mr ho didnt seem so scary that day. haha. oh well, i dont know lah... was super super tired after school so went home wanting to take a nap before going to watch ajco's concert. in the end was hungry so cooked some macaroni to eat. came online to check mail awhile then in the end left with 30 minutes to sleep. =P hehe so went met yini, sylvia and ivy at yio chu kang to go aj but i was late. lolx paiseh! eee... yio chu kang was like so far away... argh... so yep reached the and saw quite a few people i know whom i didnt expect would go. lolx just realised all are my lower sec classmates. haha. and didnt expect them to be watching co concert lah. haha. yep. sheesh, i think the concert quite budget leh... the program booklet... argh. mine has alot of holes in it! lolx but the ticket was nice lor... k. so i was sitting somewhere in the middle row, on the extreme left seat. haha. dont know, but somehow, i was quite disappointed with the concert. at least for the first half. hmmm... only looked forward to their gong1 zhu3 only cos that was their choice piece for syf and quite like it after listening to their syf recording. lolx. for most of the rest of the concert, i was busy sms-ing. (ooops) =P the first half the songs quite sian leh (especially the dizi solo which was super long [no offense =P])... the last 3 songs at the 2nd half was like better lah. more to my liking. hahaha. and actually for the concert, many of the songs were familiar. like su bei feng qing and the encore piece, lin zhong ye hui i played before... then current playing long teng too. so yep. haha. brought back memories of rvco quite unexpectedly. hmmmx the concert dont say until too bad lah if not i get beaten up how? lolx not bad le lah, considering they practised the songs after syf. and i liked their video at the end! after that went back with py, cass and dy. lol then halfway through we decided to go and eat. ( that was about 10pm le if im not wrong) lolx on the way became super hyper(rhyming words!) again cos it was at night le and i sometimes get super hyper at night(especialy if i slept in the afternoon). then i laughed alot until my face red lah so malu... bleahx (think my face gets red super easily =X) yep so went jec de kfc (cos we agreed that it was the most neutral spot for us to go) and shared a buddy meal among us. yea haha.. talked alot of crap then actually wanted go the cheers beside to look for the new "anything" or "whatever" drink but didnt manage to find it. in the end was standing beside the chocs section and started to act out our version of the drink's tv commercial with cass using the chocs. donk know if the staff saw or not. if have sure -.-" one lorx... hehe. omg and i said we looked like pai kia cos we were still in school uni at that hour...
sat(26/05): yay went food expo with my mum and sis. hehe. ate alot and drank alot. then there were alot of fairs around also. like guardian, indonesian, branded goods, mph etc de fairs. so one trip down can get to see lots of things. all like not bad lah. can go down take a look if free. =D and i realised a stall at boon lay bus interchange sell de durian pudding quite nice, though abit ex. haha...
sun(27/05): went hsinghai today. yeps got another new song which is like easier than the rest. haha some hakka folk song called mi nong feng qing. the first movement's pipa part was like made up of only three notes, lah(6), doh(1), and mi(3) in different rhythms only, and the 3rd movement sounded quite groovy to me. lolx. argh still must prac alot lah. still cant grasp long teng's semi quavers. haix... oh yea. for lunch went to this shop opposite the arts centre. actaully wanted to order you2 ji1 he2 fen3 one. and i waited at the stall for dont know how long and they ignored me can! stupid lah. and the uncle serving the food have an attitude problem lor. irritating... haha. in the end got angry then didnt order from them. ordered at the western stall instead. ate chicken kebab which was quite nice. and i dont regret changing my mind. lalala~

whee~ the holidays are here! actually as mentioned in my previous post, i felt nothing lah seriously. hmmm... need to mug lor... haix... seems like no other schools have the same timetable as us. what mid year exams in the last week of holidays. abit the wu liao... grrr... already agreed some peeps to go study together le. lolx
but ya lor other than work, think i can dedicate abit more time than usual to my pipa also... (shhhh..) now that my black co file's quite full of songs that need practising, i am happy! lolx and so is my file and pipa. lalala~~! =D
sad think cant go back jjco this weds cos of ijco's performance. then cannot return costume and borrow liuqin. still waiting to lay my hands on a liuqin. haha.

ahhh i am back again. it really feels great to be released form school these days...
today marked the end of tests for term 2 (should be lah, not counting tmr's zuo wen test) which is quite a relief to me. but good things always come to an end too soon. there'll be mid years in the last week of the june holidays... hah.
i felt today's civics lesson was quite meaningful leh, why everyone tell me its boring? and most people werent even listening at all! ooo... super tired today and like dozed off a thousand times during econs lect. shhh... =/ after that had chinese lit extra lesson and halfway through we were chased out of the classroom by another class so ended up having the rest of the lesson at the tables outside the staffroom. so mdm liu was using her laptop and the 10 of us were like squeezing in one corner so we could see... must have looked weird to others walking past.
was on the way out of school and we were walking by the GO and saw mr ho who asked if we wanted extra econs lessons since we seem so free everyday. haha. i find it rather strange too, cos i dont know for what reasons, we always see him around GO after school. lol
haha the june holdays are coming and i welcome the break. oh man, going to school everyday is boring me to death already... "appeared" in school this morning just like any other day, and i suddenly had this thought: "oh! i am in school again!" argh, i feel like i am just alternating between school and home everyday. routine routine routine. suddenly appear at home, then again in school, home, school, home, school... you get the idea. i feel i have no life, no soul, like a zombie. seriously, the other side of me is looking for someting exciting to do other than going to school everyday. i've got lots and lots of things i wanna do! (not that i'll pon school lah, i am guai1. lalala~) then again, was on the way to jp just now with suyang who "reminded" me its the holidays next week. but really, i dont feel happy or excited or anth like before. i felt nothing. numbness. dont know why.
i am so sorry to the people around whom i was rude to these few days... i am sorry if i didnt answer your questions or reply your sms-es or msn or anything. i just dont feel like talking. haix. not that anything's really bothering me. i already said i have stm so i'll forget things really quickly. hah. i just feel like shutting myself up these few days. i just need some peace and quiet in the not-so-peaceful world of today... lol. yup seriously, i am fine. and to those who are concerned, thanks alot. hahax. really, 没事的! =)

whee~ i am back to blog~! actually i also dont know what to blog about. its not because i have nothing to blog about, but because everytime i feel like blogging, i dont have access to my blog (ok, a computer). then when i manage to get to a computer, what i want to write may not be so effectively brought across cos the memories etc. not so fresh in my mind le and i'll end up with only a simple account of waht happened when what i want to express is much more than that.
oh well, had hsinghai today. it was... erm... ok lor... dont know leh, somehow today abit the no mood. got long teng scores. argh!!! i think i wont really like this concert de songs cos heard all super fast. actually quite expected cos its a mainly suona and/or some dont know wat instru de concert... lalala~ win liao lor. kuai bans=my weakness. *bangs head on table* prac prac prac! haha. actually most parts were ok for me i guess except for semi quavers. agrh they gonna be my enemies! lolx... ok maybe its tiao4 ba3 which is killing me... but still, i hate semi quavers!!! bleahx... =/ was on the was back home on the train. alone. and throughout, i was thinking, thinking and thinking... about alot of things... haix...
oh well, this past week was not exactly a nice one for me. dont know why but these few days i get easily pissed off by some people. dont know lah, its either them, or me. oh well. sometimes i think that some people just overdo things lah. or i am just disgusted by what some people can say/do. or maybe, its just me, but again i am not the kind who would confront the person face to face. i would rather just ren3 or ignore then forget about it. haix...
ok. i am like super determined to learn yu3 hou4 ting2 yuan4 now. its a liuqin song by the way. lolx cos its like nice, and i tried playing it in sec 3 but was left with all the fast parts and so did not complete it. i wanna play the full song!!! lolx. just for fun lah. rather than sticking with my pipa all the time. time to look ater the pipa's baby for a while! lalala~ yupz the song's really nice lah... and it all started cos i was looking through all my co scores which are accumulated over these few years in co a few days back (super messy!) then saw the scores for this songs and some other pipa songs which i learnt in my sec sch days. so i thought i should polish them up just because i have nothing else to play... and i've been listening to lots of co on the com so... oh well... >.< hmm... i should be studying for c lit make up test (first thing in the morning) but really, i have no mood lah. or rather, to tell the truth, i have short attention span when it comes to studying... so halfway through i went to practise pipa! omg.. can believe it lah... i thought i wont prac, but ya lor, partly because of today's prac, i am more determined to practise again... cos i felt something, and i am thinking about lots and lots of stuff but i shallnt mention... haix. maybe its my imagination but i think i am not wrong lah. ahhh... forget it, dont wanna think too much le...
